It's a small plastic container with a chopper inside. Whe you rotate the lid, the garlic or ginger gets minced.

Thanks everyone, that's just what I need as my gammy wrists make it hard for me to chop things and garlic is too small to go in my Ninja. Well happy (no P&P either).

I ordered one too. Thought I'd missed it as I'd rewound the show and they kept saying it was selling out, but I nabbed one. I love garlic in almost anything but hate chopping it so hopefully this will be good.

This made me cry with laughter - and also relief that I am not the only one who’s that daft! Believe me, you need to worry when you hear you are as bad as me!

To be fair, you do have a point. And to be fair to me, I have had a re-think and am not buying it. I remembered I have a small electric and a manual chopper plus a garlic press so this would just further clutter up the cupboard or worktop or drawer or wherever else I could find room to cram it in (probably have to be the bathroom cabinet … except I don’t have one).

Er excuse me, that's the one I bought as my kitchen is yellow and cream (not with nicotine stains) and I thought that would be the best match

Does anyone remember those ashtrays that were on a tall stand and you pressed a button and the top bit sucked up all the ash? My grandad had one back in the 60s and I just thought of it when I had another look at this gadget.
