I decided to order myself some new winter boots from the sale, noticed that they had some Markons on offer on Le Q website so decided to give them a go as they were on easy pay.

They are these ones

http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.a...cid.cswb/walk.html.|ukhtml|Cor_uk_MyAcct,html

and I ordered them in the light brown tan colour shown in the picture far down the page as that was the only shade available when I placed my order.

Now see the picture I've attached, they've just arrived and they're clearly dark brown and not tan...

Since I placed my order they've sneakily altered the website to include a picture of the dark brown ones which were most definitely not on there when I made my order.

I haven't tried them on either as they are quite clearly returns, the leather is scuffed and marked and one of the heels is scratched, they look as if they have been worn.

I think I'm done moaning now:thinking: - sorry for that, but I really do think that is the last order I place with QVC:call:.

But yep, looking like a call to CS on the cards...:drunk:

Q can't even say it's because they're from the US where Tan is a different colour to our idea of tan....theirs is nearer to camel.

Hold out for a return label Cavey or tell em I'll gate crash the Beauty Bash (I think LipstickCherry and I are blacklisted )

I've seen mention of Le Q website before on here but am ashamed to admit I don't know what it is and where do you find it please?

I do hope that's a joke!

I really must be the only Scouser not to be a stereotype (apart from the bitchy gay one...) :headbang:

Sorry I'm an owld scousie git who doesn't get any of the Le Q thingies and now doesn't get the scousie/gay joke ......................"give me the medication matron and I'll lie down in a darkened room" and I want to put screaming smilie things on but can't.

Ah dont worry about it Scouser. Le Q is just us lot taking the rip out of QVC so the website we're referring to is QVCUK.com.
:sun:
And unless Im missing it too (has been known...!) , I think the bitchy gay scouser my Darling Klarion is referring to is the Lily Savage bloke.

I think the only way to guarantee not getting someone else's reject sent to you as new is never use waitlist, or buy from clearance or anything that isn't 'new today'.

I've also been sent 2nd-hand stuff so usually just stick to the above rules nowadays. This particular scam of theirs has been going on for years.

Well, I am definitely going to have to get on to CS - inspected the boots in proper daylight today and the leather is literally actually slashed in one place on one of the boots (conveniently the boot that was underneath in the parcel and also very conveniently turned the other way round...hhhmmmmn *scratches beard*) and also the soles have been inadequately stitched to the leather and there are little holes there. Really, really disappointed and annoyed.

I think you make an excellent point there floozie, I've bought from Clearance a few times and have had issues with items being either returns or faulty. Of course CS swear blind they never send out returns. Indeed I've actually heard a few presenters over the last few days swear that the Outlet hours and Clearance prices are still brand new items that 'will arrive in pristine condition'...I have only one thing to say to that. Rollocks. :wonder::happy:

Oh, and rollocks too :nod::grin:

Unfortunately the same thing happens in shops too. I took a pair of curtains back to a well known store because they had a small hole in. They changed them without question . A few weeks later I needed another pair for a different room, there was only one pair left, I thought it was lucky they had them in stock so I bought them . It wasn't until they had been hanging up for a few days that the thought occured to me that I hadn't checked them before I put them up and lo and behold the hole was there. I had re bought the ones I had returned.

Well, I rang CS up today to get a prepaid return label sent. Anyway, they're going to send someone to collect them from me within the next 5-7 working days. I can't possibly imagine what could go wrong with that situation, can you...?
