if you'd all like to queue up to shout at me.......here goes.
Really shocked by a lot of the attitudes on this thread tbh! Firstly, just because an individual doesn't like Christmas coming into shops/view until November or December, really doesn't mean there aren't others out there with exactly the opposite opinion. As an example, I was beaming today when i saw Christmas stuff coming into some local shops, I'm sure there are plenty more out there like myself. As for QVC ruining Christmas as one poster commented, crikey, you have access to a remote control? an off button on your television? It's not actually compulsory to watch a shopping channel last time I checked. And as for QVC helping people to 'forget the true meaning of Christmas', where to start....... Christmas and the 'story' of the birth of jesus is a faith, not a fact. Christmas was initially a Pagan festival and Christianity has hopped on and stolen that one. Also, if you ask any honest Christian, they will all admit that the maths don't add up and jesus, if he ever indeed existed, would have been born about October or end of September. Really, leave QVC alone, if you dislike the programming turn off, its a shopping channel and in promoting Christmas at this particular time of year, is not doing anything and many many other high Street stores are currently doing.
