Hello all, just new to this forum,

just thought i would post a note to birkenstock fans. Amazon have some birkenstocks at reduced prices at the min, most styles. im a madrid fan and have just ordered some for twenty quid, with free delivery. sorry im not very good at this computer stuff, and cant work out how to post a link!!

Still some good bargins to be had on amazon, mostly if your at the top or bottom of the sizing scale, although a few wre still in the mid ranges. Any 8s out there, there's even a pair for £7.48

I've never tried Birkis before but have often been tempted. At £9.98, I've gone for it!

I've ordered a pair of the kids ones...can't wait to see if it's some new sizing system...hopefully not as I am a fully paid up member of the "bigfoot brigade"!!

WEll, my first pair of Birkenstocks have arrived! I ordered the "kids" ones and can tell you they are an adult's size 8!!

To be honest, they feel a bit "odd" but I believe you have to wear them for a while to get used to them. At £9.98, I'll persevere!

Love em Perdita, yes they do take a bit to get used to but you got a good bargain and a great shoe there.

I have this exact pair and I love them...paid considerably more for them tho. In a few more wearings they feel fab, honest!
