Another premier range to the Q. Now I am looking forward to this. Because the Q caters to a target audience with not limitless cash, how high end will the products be?
A brand I would like to see come to the Q, is Ralph Lauren, but at a good price. Unfortunately, RL is a bit like Apple, and don't really endorse suppliers/retailers selling the products below the RRP.

Biba are in House of Fraser I know, but I never look as I keep thinking early 70s hippy designs.

In the 70's it was very expensive (at least for my low income then) and I did notice it in H of F recently but I think it is only the name and logo that has been kept.

QVC used to sell Biba years ago, there products were always reduced in the Insider Magazine.

This takes me back to 1970.

Biba's lipstick "Oakwood" was all the rage in form 4Y at our girls' grammar school (very blue stocking dont ya know). It was quite a brown shade and didn't look nice with navy school uniforms but we thought we were the bees knees ! We slapped it on the second we left the school gates but woe betide us if a teacher caught us :mysmilie_13:

We were also potty for Mary Quant's "Brazen Bronze" nail polish in the stylish round bottle with the daisy logo.

We lived close enough to go shopping in London with our mums on Saturday afternoons.

What a blast from the past! I remember going up to Kensington during the school holidays to look round Biba, it was such an iconic brand of the times and we thought we were the bee's knees if we could afford to buy something from them. Will be interesting to see what the range offers today.

Off topic but I wanted the pale pink nail varnish that the model Veruschka modelled in the late 1960s. I think it might have been a Cutex one. Today I am wearing one called My Favourite Designer by Red Carpet Manicure. The bottle looked like a bubble gum pink which was what I wanted but the pale frosted pink is fine. Lots of 1970s stuff around at the moment. I like some of the Marc Bouwer tops. Kathy had a nice one on the morning show today.

my son dresses head to toe in Ralph Lauren quite often, house of fraser and john lewis have excellent prices on this brand.
although i would like to see their home range on Q!

Although this range look better quality than some of the tatty ranges Q sell I will not be buying anything. I agree some of it is a bit hippyish so not for me.

I bought some lovely bits and pieces of clothes for my holiday next month ...lovely tops and great value shapely trousers...seriously qvc clothes are extortionate much of the time ....marks and Spencer's are struggling as fas as I know because of its arrogance yet again imho....people want cheaper nice good quality clothes ....they really have to take note or sink ....matalan Asda George ...Primark ....they are doing well because they know what the people want ...simples ..as the meerkat say:mysmilie_59:

Um, just trawled the Biba site on Q, and to me, the maxi dress could be from the Kim & Co range, the 'foil' printed T shirt reminds me of Harald Glookner's Pompoos fashion range, and the fringed burnt out jacket is no longer available before its been on air !!!

Is it me, because this isn't how I remember the Biba fashion range.
