Best anti wrinkle cream???

Why not try one of the oils such as decleor as they are one of the few things I have found made a daily difference in plumping and hydrating? I also swear by Philosophy Hope in Tube for the eyes. Nothing else I have ever used has the same instant result.

Know it's boring but really you also need to hydrate from the inside so plenty of water drinking!

The decleor oils are lovely (especially Neroli), but I think that LE superskin concentrate is even better, made my skin feel smooth, soft and plump overnight. I was given a 2ml sample and made an order for the full size as soon as I ran out...

I have a dry-combination skin which is prone to sensitivity but I am using Clinique Youth Surge and am getting along very well with it. They do sample pots, so you can try before you commit to buying.

I've been using A'kin rose oil for a few weeks and I'm pleased with the way it has softed and brightened my skin. For day I put it on under an Avon moisturiser with SPF 25 sunscreen, which I will wear throughout the winter.

I also like the Decleor Iris oil but it's more expensive than A'kin and no better IMO.

I just need to find a good night cream to put on over the rose oil - any recommendations?

The only ingredient clinically proven to physically alter your face/improve wrinkles is Vitamin A/retinol (a vit A derivative). As far as I recall Rosehip oil (like A'kin's) is high in natural source Vitamin A. Neutrogena's retinol serums and night creams are highly rated but sadly not available in the UK but easily sourced on eBay. Also ROC products (from Boots) contain retinol so are worth a try. I use the Rosehip oil and love it so far, think I might have to pull out the big guns for winter though and get a retinol based eye cream to go with it. I also like Elemis eye serum although i haven't actually checked the ingredients in it yet!

Someone I used to know obtained RetinA cream on a private prescription from her doctor. Don't know if you can still do that.
You just have to be careful as it thins the skin so you must avoid the sun if you're using retinol based stuff.

Agreed, you definitely need to be careful with your sunscreen when using Retinol products as they are having an effect on your skin.

Just one note about seeeeeeerums cool2, often they are just silicone and a few vitamins whacked in. They make your skin feel lovely as the silicone makes your skin silky and soft but generally speaking they have no effect on your skin whatsoever unless they have active ingredients in the formula too.

Thanks a lot for all your advice The A'kin seems to be very popular. i'm definitely going to give it a go. I have tried the LE superskin concentrate and Neroli, but both of them have given me spots.
To make matters worse i bought some new eyebrow tweezers yesterday that came with a mirror that had 9 times magnification. Nothing better than that to make you realise you have wrinkles!!!!

Decleor is good but if you want serious anti-ageing, try Clientele or if you like French salon brands, Jean d'Estrees ISD is ment to be one of the best

Following on from the advice above how about the SPF30 anti-ageing face product form ultrasun I don't think that's heavey, has the sunscreen beenfit to help prevent future damage and an anti-ageing ingredient (apparently!) called ectoin. Why not try it on your 30day MBG.

What about something like the lotus firming serum from clientele as its a light easily absorbed serum.

Or have you tried any alpha h?

I love the Ultrasun SPF30 would definetely recommend it, make up goes on well over it too.

my skin is more of dry than oily or moisturized. i use NeuCell anti-wrinkle cream. not that expensive but has been working well on me. just check it out in google. can't post the link here to help you.

Was thinking of treating myself to this Jabba but reading the adverse reviews on the Boots website has put me off. How long did it take for you to notice any improvement if you don't mind me asking?

I swear by L'Occitane Divine Cream. Le Q don't stock it though. It's a bit pricey but it's quite a big pot and a little goes a long way. I have very sensitive skin so can't use Gatineau etc. It's certainly changed my skin for the better. There is an eye cream too.

Love most of all Clarins Super Restorative but when I'm feeling hard up I buy Olay Three Point cream which is almost as good.
I have very sensitive, reactive skin that comes up in itchy blisters whenever things disagree with it, has happened a lot with Gatineau & Decleor especially, but never a problem at all with any Clarins or this Olay cream. With both I wake up with lovely plumped up skin. brilliant! :rock:

Be careful though. I've landed in A&E twice now with a couple of full blown anaphylactic shocks, where my eyes, face & throat swelled up so quickly I couldn't breathe. They weren't cosmetics related though, one was to a drug I'd been prescribed & the other to rye, hidden in a multi grain loaf, that I'm very allergic to.
But a specialist I was referred to said to be very careful if you've had the warning rashes & keep at least antihistimines in your bag & take 4 Piriton in one go & get to hospital if you can feel it beginning.

You really should request an epi-pen which is adrenaline or ask why you haven't been prescribed them. Ending up in A&E was awful for you and the same thing happened to my niece a few weeks ago, though she was prescribed epi-pens before her allergy test results were back. Please question your care. I have allergies to some nuts too and they make me cough and lose my voice, so I avoid them. I have wondered whether I need an epi-pen but I know so many of my allergy culprits I live to avoid them, but you are right, I need to carry antihist. and at the moment I have a massive hive on my collar bone. My DD thought it was a bite but it has spread since last night. A new reaction to something......? Take care x.

I can't have an epi-pen.
I asked about one but the consultant said it wasn't right for me. An epi-pen works by raising your blood pressure quickly if it plummets when you have an anaphlaxis. But I have very high BP (on meds all my life) & a related heart defect from birth. My BP had gone dangerously high when they checked it in A&E & an epi-pen that raised it further could be catastrophic for me.
