I started QVC shopping in or around 1993/4 I have noticed everything said here huge hike in prices. We all know how times have changed and we are not suckers for the hype either. In the past big companies seen in department stores would never have featured on Q, that tells me these days where they think their market is. I have bought terrific quality beauty from companies who don't even advertise, but have millions of great reviews.

With the demise of Decleor, I’ve tried various brands, some high end, some readily available in high street shops and some that don’t advertise but found on reputable beauty websites.

Never found anything really to match Decleor’s Hydra Floral, Aromessence balms/oils or Phytopeel. I did like Bielenda (a Polish brand) but it was no longer imported once Brexit came into effect. The ones I use regularly now are Superdrug’s Optimum Collagen range and Strictly Professional for Sensitive skin. For a cleanser Garnier Micellar water for Sensitive skin/Hyaluronic or Superdrug C&P type with Erase my face cloths.

Today for the first time I have used Aldi Lacura hot cloth cleanser. I'm really impressed with it, has left my aging skin soft and not stripped and dry. Game changer, for £4 it's deffo a keeper. As others have said, why spend a fortune on something you put on and immediately wash off! Prefer to spend on a good serum and moisturiser.

I was a Decleor fan too, went to Frasers counter right up till Decleor closed it. I still used it after by buying online but gradually as L'Oréal changed formulations etc......I moved away from Decleor.

Problem now is any Decleor item being sold now will be a minimum of a year old but very likely a good bit more.
