Autumn,
Any idea what July's BPOTM will be please?
I've noticed that this is back on Q's website (been missing for ages), so I'm wondering if it could be this?

I know that I've moaned about Q repeating the monthly offer in the past, but I've just started my last bottle of this so could do with stocking up. I would forgive them on this occasion!

Could be but AD are launching a new "version" of it soon with Geranium Rose.

But doesn't the current version also contain geranium and rose?

Ingredients for the current version are ...

organic rosehip seed, organic evening primrose, organic jojoba, organic rose, organic lavender, organic roman chamomile, organic palma rosa, organic ylang ylang, organic neroli, frankincense, jasmine and vitamin E.

On the AD webpage it says that "Organic Rose Geranium Essential Oil" is in the Night Treatment: http://www.adskinsynergy.com/html/ingredients.php

Maybe the new version contains more of it?

Bloody hell, this is getting complicated.I wish I hadn't asked!!! Ha Ha.
Thanks though.
No idea what to do now.

Harking back a few months to that exclusive, limited edition of the Philip Kingsley elasticiser in geranium and neroli... while not in a super size, I've seen this now in John Lewis, if anyone is still curious about it.

Thanks Ian! I read the blurb and it says this:

A top tip: if you want to get it especially whilst making the saving of Product of the Month, but the texture is too rich for you in the summer months, save for the winter months when your skin will naturally be both dryer and more dehydrated due to cooler weather and change in climate.

Which is convenient because by the Autumn it'll be too late to return it!

I could be interested in trying this, but I might wait for a few reviews (on Q or on here) before I succumb.

There's also a website http://desertislandskin.co.uk/ but I have to admit I thought it might be another off-shoot of the Back To You group because, as reviews go, they aren't very critical and there seems to be a discernible correlation between TSV item reveals on here by SCW and Autumn, or on facebook by SCW and then being "announced" on facebook by others who then soak up the thank yous. There's no law against it but I always think an acknowledgement of the source is a polite gesture. I hadn't realised it was a bloke  now I notice there's a photo on the webpage...so shows how observant I am! I wonder whether he's a member on here past or present?

This website and name seems to pop up a lot! Are they anything to do with QVC, as they seem to be constantly blogging lots of their products and yes, it seems to be a guy!:mysmilie_7:
I continue to do my own research...thank you!:mysmilie_14:

The guy who does this blog use to post a lot on the Back To You Facebook page, but I think he was asked to calm his posts down.

This would make sense, just seemed pretty constant and hear his name mentioned on QVC a lot too!!! He seems to have bought + tried every beauty product under the sun...mmmmmh, makes me wonder really!!? :mysmilie_10:

I don't doubt he's polite but reading only positive reviews does ring alarm bells. I'm more likely to trust a blogger's opinion if they're comfortable criticising a brand or reporting their disappointment in a product. If everything is fabulous I'm suspicious as to whether they're being sent freebies or hoping they will. You only have to read the opinions of beauty items on here to know that there's a huge variation in people's experiences.

Back to the BPotM: not long to wait for the July offer. On reflection I'm not sure I'll go for this foundation; browsing through my "foundation wardrobe" I could probably pour all those purchase mistakes into a vat and mix them together to create a life time supply of an almost ok colour! :mysmilie_17:

let me rephrase....

:hi: Civility or candour? :mysmilie_506:

Which is more important in a product tester?
