Found these details earlier. Possible TSV ??

I had to wanted to try BE for a long time so i bought the try me kit from Fenwicks yesterday. I tapped, I swirled and buffed, applied my mineral veil but my pores looked absolutely huge. Is there a step i've missed because i want my flawless finish:flower:
 
try a fine layer of mineral veil all over your face before you apply the foundation minerals; helps reduce the shine and the obvious pores I find. Apply far less of the foundation that you'd think and spend longer buffing with (what seems to be) an empty brush. Then another dusting of mineral veil if you need it. hth.

Thanks for the tips i'll try them tomorrow.:happy: I never thought to put the mineral veil on first.
 
Did you put primer on first - I find that a primer - my fav is the smashbox one - fills in the pores and holes first. Also then you dont need so much foundation as you dont have so much to cover.
 
i used the smashbox primer underneath Rosey. I think i may have used too much of the foundation and not buffed enough. I know SJ always says use a tiny amount but it just didn't look enough.

Its a different technique, bu once you have it iff pat you do not look back. It is the best foundation I have ever used, apart from the smashbox halo, which I also like. Takes me less then 15 min to put full make up on ( including consealer, I need all the help I can get now! lol)

I've been using mineral makeup for about three years. I've used a number of brands, including Bare Escentuals (the brand I started with in earnest).

I think that the brushes you use make a real difference. Are you using the BE Flawless Face brush (the one supplied when you buy the foundation through QVC)? Personally, I don't rate this brush at all. It feels scratchy to me and I find it hard to buff and get enough coverage. I use synthetic brushes; which feel super-soft and do a nice job. A good range is Ultimate which (I think) is stocked by Justbeautydirect. If you are happy going to a US company, everydayminerals.com also have a nice range.

This is a slightly trimmed down version of last years US BE xmas tsv. That sold for $40 and had an extra liner brush and an extra eyeshadow. I would feel cheated if they charged more us than £40.

We always get the slimmed down versions of the US ones, but I like the look of it, hope the price is right.
 
:hi:I must give all of you on here who gave me advice on the BE application a massive thank you. I used all of your tips.

I was out last night for dinner with friends who i see all the time. All of them said to me your skin looks amazing and your glowing, one asked if i was pregnant(that could have been the empire line top). The comment that made me laugh the most was your "skin looks like it has a luminous sheen" i thought AY would be so proud.

Although i do find it a bit of a faf and seem to get the minerals all over the place I think i may finally have found the perfect foundation.

Does anyone know the price for this yet? I'm guessing £40 inc P&P as that seems the standard now but wondered if anyone had found details?

It's a couple of pennies under £44 incl p&p. I think £39.53 + £4.45 p&p.
