Funny you should mention these Yaz, I was gonna do the same but AFTER I'd finished oggling these lovely Saddler bags and purses. If Gems need to diversify a little, this is one I can accept. Really good quality, handsome and practical, lots of colours, huge and middle sizes. Way better than their previous efforts with bags when they were doing those daft little Granny dinner/dance thingies. I'm really struggling here, but just now it would mean removal of the aquamarine poppy ring?
If they need to branch out a little, then I'm happy with something like this that will make you feel good as that's what jewellery and accessories are all about innit? We can go to Price-Drop for the tat (which has its place, but not on Gems). xxx

I don't mind either, yet it seems strange to say in an advert that they are a dedicated jewellery channel while selling hand bags that are not gem related in any way.
In the current climate they do need to do something to keep things fresh.

It flew over in a helicopter and threw itself out straight into me basket. Poor little thing - what can I do - can't throw it out now can I. It probably knew I'd had one nicked (red/brown moc croc, but close if you're wearing dark glasses at about 100 yards distance).
Described as purple, but I'd have described it as aubergine (the true colour of that veg). It has a double folding wallet and is a nice manageable size. £25. Hm, pity I don't have a bag to match it ................ yet! There is a lovely big floppy beast it matches at I think £95. So too much now (with poppy ring) so let's hope they do some more.
I feel quite guilty after all me whinging, glad I'd prepared the ground answering Yaz :cheeky: xxx

I watched Scott over the weekend with the gifts hours, he presented a couple of saddlers bags, and purses. He presented a red and cream bag at £95 each, they were actually quite nice, big and roomy, and the leather did look very squidgy and nice, and i did actually like the red one!! I was thinking, do you remember i think it was last year some time, they were selling the key rings, that also double up as hand bag bling - one of them had a little watch on it, others had like dogs, and they were blinged up with bits of leather, gem beads and silver? now one of those attached to a handle, or even a zip, would like nice, be even nicer if for the price of the handbag, GT would throw in one gratis, as an extra eye catcher for the handbag, then it would qualify as being a GT product? eh? eh? :wink2::handshake::up2: xx

Yes please Gems, even a nominal charge would be acceptable.
They were the only things I liked out of all those funny little odds and ends they were doing at the time. xx

I was a bit worried when I saw the title of this thread and thought "oh dear, another thread about the presenters" but no .............. 
I saw the bags at the weekend and as you say, they were actually very nice indeed! I'm not sure how I feel about GemsTV branching out with all their odds and sods but the handbags are very nice! Not sure I'd pay those prices though!

Meeshoo, i agree. The bags GT are presenting at the moment are meant to be la creme de la creme, but £95 is a bit steep for me; if i had £95.00, I would consider buying the red one, I do think that is gorgeous, but there is no way I can even justify spending £95.00 on a new handbag, even though i do know that there are handbags, designer made, that cost a small walloping fortune; I dont think it is fair on the rest of the family if I went and splurged the housekeeping money on a new bag - they would put me in Coventry! lol
