Anyone else the Sunday morning DIY shows?

I used to love waking up in the morning and flicking the Sunday morning DIY show on at 10:00am but now its hardly ever on.
I did manage to catch it a couple of weeks ago but its a great way of learning about the latest thing out there.

Its just a shame thats all

Our garage and shed are full of (mostly unopended) bits and bobs bought on a Sunday morning DIY show.
Most were bought "just in case - it leaked/flooded/cracked etc etc) However even if they were any good by the time Mr L found them and opened the parcels whatever it was would have ruined the house.

But in a funny sort of way I miss them too (but then I'm in the minority who doesnt mind S B)

qvc used to be gardening then diy on a sunday morning with proper diy people now its simon flipping biaggi or whatever his name is and no guarantee when its on

i loved it. really informative but i suspect qvc cant get the prices they want thats why they cant sell the diy. they have the roberts radios at daft prices on atm

I enjoyed the DIY Sunday shows, seldom bought anything.... but lets face it almost anything is better than hours of the smarmy gnome...in the distant past we always had two hrs of the late Harry Greene and Julian B every Sunday morning. Now all we seem to get is hrs of the gnome or hrs of 'I have been everywhere' Lee Holbein.

Used to love watching it and it was the one thing OH looked forward to on Q. It used to be informative and helpful but now? Duh. It needs a presenter who really knows his stuff and some products worth selling.

I agree, JB was really good but i do also like Simon i think they are the only two who actually know about DIY, when I've seen some other presenters they just don't look comfortable at it.
They need a dedicated show every month that would be great as they do have some good stuff when its on but know one has any idea thats the problem.
