No storage but this is rather familiar ... and cheaper!

Or with storage but no metal band at the base. They have other shapes as well.

I've only just started looking at B&M's wares (probably that rascal Shopperholic's fault). I need to visit a store (not for one of the above though)!!

Interesting that the TSV is still available in all colours when this morning (on the repeat shows) DebbieF was saying they were heading for limited stock (which would have meant she said it between midnight and 1am) so presumably some sold during the day so why are they all still available???

She said earlier this evening that she had just bought two of the grey and two of the green so she has something to sit on in her new flat. I bet she didn’t pay £220 plus £14.84 P&P.

Is it something you would want to sit on for any length of time? Once down I wouldn’t be able to get up, fine for kids I suppose but is that the covering for sticky fingers?

Oops! 😂
QVC don’t even try to hide the fact that most of what they sell are QVC own brand, with the odd ITV Z lister sleb name on, bet they curse the day Google was invented. 🤔😜😃

She probably didn’t pay £220 plus £14.84 P&P because she probably didn’t even buy them, she’s not called “Fibby” for nothing. 😂😂😂

Is it something you can sit on i.e.what‘s the max weight it takes? I’d be worried it collapsed under my weight

Apparently, 100 kilos which is just over 15 and a half stone.

When I read her blogs, which I do regularly of course (where are they again?! 😆 ) I’ll look out for pics of the interior of her flat to see if I can spot all the stools. They might be obscured by her giant face at the front of the photo, though.

God yeah...my grandmother used to sit on something very similar to this at her dressing table (The Aldi version of course) but to my memory it didn't have any storage within.
Of the two "ottomans" I prefer the price of the Aldi one and I think if the "retro" look is what you're after - it's a total winner.
Alison cork's one...more attractive to look at, but a space taker upper with not an awful lot of practical use. Like others have said a traditional oblong shaped ottoman will fit the spare bedlinen, the throws, the towels etc..this one you could get one or two items in but they're have to be arranged strangely due to the shape. She said bottles, and I though yeah use it as a "cocktail cabinet" but again not that practical as contents of bottles can be spilt and they can drip..so something velvet..again not that practical. I wouldn't throw my shoes in it as they'd be all higgledy pickledy, or put a tray full of beauty products inside as they showed - the most pointless idea of the lot. Style over substance..and without being able to look at it and examine it properly I couldn't tell you whether it was worth the money or not..but no way would I be prepared to send for it to find out as I shudder to think how much they'd charge you for something of that size and weight to be returned!
I would not have either.

With B and M you have to be selective. They have some good stuff but a lot of tat too. I get my pet food and cleaning products there. They don’t have a huge range though. I have had a rug and duvet covers which were OK.

I wondered about that. As the nearest store to me is a good few miles away, an online service (which they don't have, do they?) might have been useful but it did strike me that you would need to inspect things in person even if you could buy online. I'd like a browse one of these days, and I will do that.

I am a fan of B&M as well. Buy my cat food from there, have bought a rug, bathroom set, chocolate (lots of) , light bulbs and many many more. Can't beat them for the price of cat food. They do some very nice foodstuffs in their fridges as well. I love to wander round, then nip next door to the Range. Love that shop as well.

I love The Range, too. Oh, how I wish shopping was normal again and a pleasure 😪😪

She'd have done better spending her money in the furniture department of Homesense (TKMaxx), lots of beautiful coloured 'bits' of furniture, I would spend a fortune if I had a new place to move into.

Ooh, yes. They do have some nice things. You need to keep checking as, typical TK Maxx, things come in, get sold quite quickly, and you never see them again. I have bought a few things there myself. I must remember to check more regularly for the upholstered storage seat I am after now.
