I keep hearing the TJC presenters describe their jewellery as "affordable luxury". I mean, we are living in harsh economic times, so I was wondering whether many people see their jewellery as affordable?
I see it as cheap tat! I really don't get small, poor quality stones in over-worked, old fashioned settings being described as 'affordable luxury'. There's nothing luxurious about cheap and nasty.
