I've had an item on advanced order since the middle of January, item 205487 - Revitalash. Despatch was promised on February 17th but nothing has happened yet. Order details still says "awaiting stock" and the product detail says that it is no longer available. It was at a good price and I can't help be suspicious that, as a result, they're not going to fulfill these orders now. How long do they keep them in the system before they just cancel them? And are they obliged to let you know when that happens?
 
I've never had an advanced order delivered when it should have been, I've had to chase every one. Phone or email them.

I'm the opposite to be honest. I've always had 'Advanced Orders' delivered without a hitch. Waitlist is another matter though.

I think with an AD QVC have to fulfill the orders, as it's guaranteed stock. Maybe it's just delayed. It's 'waitlist' where they can say they didn't get any in. As far as I'm aware.
 
Maybe I have just been lucky as I have always received Advanced Orders and Waitlisted items. As a result I often play the "waitlist game" as it allows me to juggle my budget. For example I wanted to try the Vionic TSV yesterday and ordered the Cork/gold combination which were not on waitlist. I have also waitlisted the White and Coral option, as I know that if I like the Cork option then I would want them in the two other colours.

So the bonus is that if I like them then I will get the further colours at a later date at the TSV price and on easy pay. If the 90 day waitlist starts to run out I can phone and get it renewed. If I don't like them, then I can just cancel the wait listed ones and just return the one pair. I do this with a lot of items if I can.
