That is very useful, Mollie. I am pleased to hear it’s probably just the FPP which is sub-standard. At least MB realised and allowed these other discounters to buy them up, rather than try to sell them in their shops (or QVC!)

Thanks. The others in the box smelt the same as ones I had, too - it was just the FPP smell and colour. Oh, and there were also small stains from leakages in the boxes. Must have been a mechanical failure on the production line.

Has anyone actually tried any of the MB they got from IW yet? I missed out but visited a little shop up in Yorkshire which sells well known brands at massively discounted prices and they had boxes of MB hand wash and shower gel, 3 x 300ml for £20! Needless to say, people were queuing up for them...

Oh, I’ve got one of those - from Amazon 3 or 4 years ago. I think I paid about £9 so you got a bargain there. And the QVC duo was a rip-off, but nobody will be surprised by that, eh?

I hope they’re pretty accurate. I notice I gave the wrong price for the La Soie set (£9.99) and I think I got a couple of RRPs wrong, eg the La Mer originals, for which it looks like I gave a retailer’s discounted prices. But if you buy the La Soie serum for £6.99, you are still saving a fortune...
