Willingness to pay limits for beauty TSVs and products

In my opinion quite a few of ranges QVC sell can be tricky for sensitive skin. Personally I'm not keen on strongly fragranced products with essentials oils and id like to see more fragrance free options.

Willingness to pay limits for beauty TSVs and products

If you like the texture of pcmc Garrnier do some quite nice cream gel moisturisers - there's one in a green pot that smells quite fresh and is less than a fiver for a pot. No supoosedly anti- aging properties though.

Willingness to pay limits for beauty TSVs and products

Starting a new thread to get your views on whay yours imuts are for beuty spending on QVC and elsewhere. For me most beauty TSVs are too pricey. Once you factor in the products you actually want they are not good value for me. That being said a lot of QVC beauty products cost more than I'm...

    Alpha H TSV 19/8/14

I like some alpha h products. I used to buy the rejuvenating night cream - beforcthey changed the packaging and incresed the price from about £45 for a 100ml tube to £50 for a 50 ml pot.

    Diet Chef - really????

I agree that people may need professional medical and psychological support with their weight issues but they may also need practical help. Research has shown that meal planning and recording what you eat can be effective in supporting weight loss and maintenance and I think that is where these...

    Diet Chef - really????

The plan I have been on has completely revolutionised my eating habits. I understand portion size and now I am working towards weaning myself onto supermarket alternatives to the meals. It is not a wonder product but proper food sent to you in conveniently portiond meals. For those willing and...

"Hero shades" -are we set in our ways?

Didn't mention my fragrance which has been discontinued which is very frustrating so any suggestions for alternatives welcome... Origins gloomaway which is primarily grapefruit - they used to do an edt but then changed it to a body mist which was ok - now nothing apart from shower gels and...

    Diet Chef - really????

Can't comment on the diet chef plan but the plan I've been on has by no means been faddish - proper food which to honest has been morenutritionally balanced than what I had been eating. Whether it turns out to have been a waste of money only time will tell but so far its been money well spent. I...

    Diet Chef - really????

If like me you have a normal basal metabolic rate then you will lose weight without the need for exercise if you stick to a 1200 cal diet. And in my opinion and personal experience that is the value of these types of plan if like me you are a lazy shopper and lack imagination to plan and shop...

    Ojon leaving QVC

It's sold in Boots now as well (the dreaded high street). And apparently Liz Earle stuff is coming too (in their magazine there was a feature about it). Once it gets into Boots with a decent sized stand I doubt brands need QVC anymore...

House, Villas, in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus!

Tri hope you find some support looking after your mum. But the presenters are just earning a living like a lot of us are so their choice to spend their cash on homes in the sun is no different really from us choosing to buy what probably in many cases are unecessary luxuries from QVC or...

    Carmel returns.

Whether someone returns to work after a week, month or year after having a baby is none of our business. We dont' know their personal circumstances or child care arrangements. Also - I quite like the presenters making it a bit personal in their presentations. It woudl be so boring if they just...

House, Villas, in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus!

Presenting for QVC may pay well - so that they can afford nice holidays and 2nd homes overseas or wherever. But their salaries/ jobs depend on them generating sales for products with high P& P charges (if the P&P is too much for you - buy elsewhere...)

N Home bedding, I'm very impressed with it...

Good to hear your feedback. I am tempted by one of his sets (arabesque - neutral with an orange border). I also found the NN 300 rather limp (good description) and sent it back.

    Kelly Hoppen TSV 24/3/13

The KH bedding is nice enough. I also quite like her and thought she was quite funny when she told one of the presenters off for putting the cushion on the bed diagonally against the pillows. She also seems a bit obsessed with accessories being grouped into 3s. Seems a bit formulaic to me - and...
