The Ordinary Azelaic Acid cream has been great on my oily rosacea skin.

Anyone seen Strato lately? I thought he'd have weighed in on this thread.

I used to throw these down like Smarties for period pain when they were first available otc. I'm deeply sorry now as I have to take Omeprazole to counteract the problems the GP says they caused. If I take a single one now I get abdominal pain that the GP says is likely an ulcer. The advert...

I was fed up with the condensation I was getting on the upstairs windows at the hint of cold weather. I bought the Meaco Arete 2 20L and have been really pleased at how well it works. We're still getting small amounts on the windows after a colder night but I'm shocked at the amount of water...

    To Wick Moisture Away

The Glamorise front-fastener I have is a single click-type fastening. It took me a few minutes to figure out that you have to slot the "pin" into the "hinge" parts then twist to close so the fastening snaps shut and lies flat. I've worn them for years, even as a passenger in a car that crashed...

    To Wick Moisture Away

It takes years and years for sheepskin to start to smell - as my slippers can attest. There is some kind of natural antimicrobial in the fleece that kills off the stink-causing bacteria. If a sheepskin smells it's usually due to poor tanning. I don't wear socks in mine. I've found that sheepskin...

Years ago I had a lovely set from Shaws. I was sad to see that shop leave the high street.

I like organisation. I haven't travelled for a while but found keeping my passport and ticket in one secure pocket away from my makeup bag, book etc., great. When I've had a new bag I've put stuff in the places I know will suit them best then I can remember where everything is. What I don't...

I had a non-stick pan from QVC years ago. Within a few months all the coating came off. I asked QVC for a returns form, they said NO as it's past the (then) 30 days. I explained that it was faulty. They still said no. I dug out Martin Lewis's SADFART list, rang back, quoted it and got a returns...

It comes later for men. And most won't discuss it as it's not manly. I worked in a geriatric and EMI (elderly mentally ill) unit for a while. The studies on dementia and how family members can be helped to cope were fascinating but the thing that was most ignored was male incontinence. Which...

    Lab created diamonds.

You should post a pic on Pricescope.com especially if it's an antique ring (it sounds like a toi et moi ring to me). Out of curiosity, where did you get it? I found a lovely antique Jewellry shop in Cardiff yards away from another with a great second-hand section. Most of the other Jewellry...

    Lab created diamonds.

I love the sparkle of diamonds - I'm a right magpie. Modern cuts sparkle like mad but give me an antique cut over them any day. Mine's an OEC (Old European Cut) that was bought from an antique shop at less than half the price of a new version. The cut is chunkier so I get massive flashes of...

I recorded and watched it earlier. As usual with these programmes they ask a question, give a little info then leave us all hanging. Since I've been using HRT (and, boy, did I have a job getting it!), the Newson Clinics have exploded. Which shows there are a LOT of desperate women out there...

    Underwear on QVC

I just watched the clip of the dancer and the singer (I don't watch Strictly so don't know the names) on the news and thought of this post. "Joke" or not the dancer must be a great actress to pull off that expression before plastering her game face back on. She looked like she wanted to slap...

I think you need to go for a tinted moisturiser but the Olay one - lovely as it is - was way too dark for me. I had better luck with the Garnier one but there are so many good ones out there that won't break the bank. I like the Autograph one from M&S but they never have my shade in stock...

I agree with both. My favourite presenter. I keep forgetting about him until I catch him presenting an hour I've recorded. As soon as I see it's him I can stop fast-forwarding. No headache from screeching, no irritation as he's not rude to BAs and, as mentioned, he asks the right questions.

You're okay with using hot like that, as Strato said. However, after seeing the state on my new tap flow insert a few weeks after fitting, I've decided to use cooled boiled water for drinking in future. Check out the state of yours and let me know. If yours is clean, please let me know how...
