I find it hard to resist Smashbox but this Halo version has such mixed reviews and far too many bad ones :(

Thank you for replies and interesting that it is not just me and obviously a fault in the design. Was fairly sure I had not been rough with it in any way so just not fit for purpose as cosmetic packaging should ideally outlive the product inside!

You are welcome. I think the wallet, whilst looks lovely for gift giving is a bit impractical for use. Seeing as the small one is useful handbag size it would have been better to have supplied a small wallet only for this one to safeguard it for travel.
