    The dreaded high street

I've also seen Candy Cane, Pumpkin Pie and Mimosa half price (either Harrods or Selfridges, I think) as well as the Candy Cane and Gingerbread Man body scrubs.

What QVC item did you get as a Christmas gift??

An elemis mens kit - moisturiser, cleanser, shaving gel & sharp shower. V nice.

    Margarine Burgervan...

My favourite thing on tv! Utterly compelling. I'd wouldn't mind a Pilates machine but I just have nowhere to put it. All the Xmas naughties are taking their toll. Once the last of the Xmas cake is polished off I might dare to weigh myself. Think life is too short to be constantly on a diet -...

    Has Craig changed his name?

Am guessing that they are not bezza mates then  Hope Julian's other businesses are doing well, so no need for him to do any more hours on QVC. Quite the worst presenter on QVC - would rather watch JF all day. :dull:

    The dreaded high street

Have to say, so far I have been very underwhelmed by the sales in the shops. Thought John Lewis was dire. Only thing of any note so far purchased was a Prada jacket at half price from Selfridges - and they managed to leave the blinkin' security tag on so I have now got to trudge all the way back...

QVC Male Presenter Of The Year 2012

Can't vote for any of them - what a bunch!

    Where's Claire?

I bet the other presenters are thrilled at having to cover for Claire on Xmas Eve. She's probably nipped out to do some minute Xmas bits.

    Peter Simon

I'm afraid I don't believe a word he says

    Where's Claire?

Well Julian made a right meal of having to do Dreamkeeper - not exactly versatile is he?

    Where's Claire?

She was down to present the Bobbi Brown hour, but that miracle cure for insomnia, Charlie, was on instead. Now the awful Julian is having to do Dreamkeeper :talking:

Lies, damn lies, and sit-up tv

She's probably busy buffing up her Worry Angels and all the other fabulous items she has purchased from Bid :talking:

    Perricone MD TSV 23/12/12

I think I'll give it a miss. With the p&p it's over a hundred quid and the pore minimiser is being sold as a glorified toner. I've got a ton of cleanser and toner to get thru', so it would only really be the moisturiser that I would use in the near future.

    "Our Bet....."

I watched the silly old fart for a few minutes whilst he was talking b*ll*cks about the Max Stuhrling watch (yes, that well known brand!) - be-jewelled, leathered, silvered, sapphire facia, precision, clarity, design.........simply magnificent........absolutely stunning..... etc. Funny that...

I've had that kit before - really like the face firming activator but was less keen on the moisturiser. Will have to think about whether I can justify the price of the tsv. On Elemis moisturisers at the mo' but will need something for when they run out.

Who is your favorite Ideal World Presenter ?

Hardly ever watch, owing to the fact that their inventory can be written down on the back of an envelope. Debbie is ok, but can't stand the rest of them. Particularly awful are Sean, Loen and Dennise

    Gatineau TSV 01/01/2013

Don't think I shall bother with this, which might make tonight's Perricone tsv more tempting.

    Perricone MD TSV 23/12/12

I shall watch this tonight - have only tried the cleanser in this kit, which is lovely, but the other products sound interesting. I expect it will be quite expensive.

    Caramel's baby's name

For a girl I like Chardonnay, or Beaujolais, or Frascati.........I think a theme is developing! If I had a dog I'd call it Tanqueray

    Suzi Bjontegaard

And lots of long cheap-looking chains made out of base metal with bezel set crystal stations

    Suzi Bjontegaard

Yes, I can remember the days when she was flavour of the month. Her stuff was always a variation on a theme - s'pose people's taste has just moved on. Always looked a bit cheap & tinny to me. Didn't she go through a divorce? She aged very suddenly and became quite haggard looking :smirk:
