Can anyone tell me how you trim the wick in the large jar candles, when its getting half way down, I struggle to get the scissors in, do I need a special wick trimmer

I had a Bethlehem wreath last year, and only had one set of batteries, form 1st Dec to 1st Jan, an they hadn't gone even then, but that's when I took it down, and no I haven't got my decorations up yet, usually the !at Dec for the outside ones then about the middle for the inside.

Oh that's not very good I thought it had a switch, I've already got one and find the switch really important, like you I could see it going over when I pull the plug out, innless of course you have plug sockets with switches, mine hasn't arrived yet, so I will reserve judgement.
