    Qvc wags

I'm lucky enough to have a best friend I thank God for her on a daily basis. We've been best friends for 36 years and barely a day has gone by when we haven't spoken at length to each other ~ she's my rock and my soul sister and I would be utterly lost without her. My daughter was a WAG for a...

    Mason's Weather Warning

According to the forecast the weather is supposed to warm up over the next couple days..... not that he would let a little thing like that deter him.

Something strange going on with her mouth ~ it looks a lot different. Maybe she's had dental work done?

The old box lie from Caroline Lindsay

It's amazing how the lies trip off their tongues with such ease. If I ever start to tell a fib I go red and stutter and stumble over the words and generally make a spectacle of myself. I know they're all probably frustrated actors and perhaps they just see it as an acting job and that's how they...

    Emma Hardie TSV 12/12/12

I've no idea why I'm up at this time watching the show as I've intention of purchasing anything, but I'm quite fascinated by the pairing of EH and JR. They both seem quite uncomfortable with each other. EH doesn't come across well imo (if she says 'really' one more time I'll scream) and Julia...

    Basso

Odious man and his ugliness shines through. I can't watch him or listen to him without feeling repulsed. His coats ~ fake or not ~ are all completely hideous imo and I've yet to see one of the models look half decent in one let alone an average person.

I hope Emma Hardie isn't going to...

I've never tried any of her stuff and I understand it's very popular but that's kind of the impression it gives me too. I don't fancy waking up stuck to my pillow.

QVC as a drug for both presenter and viewer?

I'm quite sure that there are a section of people who get taken in by the oh so friendly presenters. I've written on numerous threads about my concern over vulnerable people getting sucked into buying crap they don't need and can't afford from shopping channels ~ Qvc being amongst the least...

QVC as a drug for both presenter and viewer?

I don't think Tristar initialized this thread by implying that she/he viewed Q as friends. They were asking whether people found it calming to the point of addiction. Two different topics.

QVC as a drug for both presenter and viewer?

I think that's being slightly patronizing to people. I can't imagine anyone substitutes it for real life! I often put Q on when I'm feeling anxious and twitchy as I find it very calming and reassuring, but never in a million years do I think the presenters are doing anything other than their...

If a fellow QVC addict came round at Christmas.....

L'Occitane handwash, various Liz Earle pots and tubes on the window sill along with Alpha H, Elemis Gatineau and Philosophy. Ideally they should all be in the cupboard and cabinet but they're full. There's usually a couple of Lola Rose bracelets hanging from the cupboard handle. Yankee candles...

    2012 Support thread

I'm staying the same which is the best I can hope for atm. I'm by no means over eating, but because I only have vanity pounds to lose it requires dropping my calories quite low to maintain that weight. My metabolism has definitely slowed with age ~ it was so much easier when I was younger. Good...

    Strictly 2012 8th December

I thoroughly enjoyed the show tonight. I thought the dancing was of a great standard and the fusion idea worked really well. Kimbereley was fantastic and I found myself smiling as she was dancing, It was really joyous.

    Kim Mendelson

Mad as a box of frogs, but I think she's sweet and I like her. She comes across as loving her product and unlike others, she knows it inside out which is always a bonus.

    Alison Keenan

When I heard her talk about her illness (on another programme) she came across as a lovely genuine person. I wish her all the very best in her recovery. I think she's been so brave in continuing to work and put herself out there. However I've never been a fan of her presenting. In fact she makes...

    Chuntley and P&P

She's the worst for coming out with spiels extolling the virtues of Q mid sale. It drives me potty ~ in fact I can't watch her anymore. She's fawning, creepy and oh so patronising. Learn to concentrate on explaining what you're selling and stop trying to brainwash us Ms Huntley!
