Laura Geller TSV on QVCUS yesterday

Hmn...HMNN...When I saw it had liquid foundation in it, I immediately thought "no way", but just had a proper look at it and I might be tempted - I'll be ready for a new tube of Spackle by then and I like the look of the lippy/blusher...OH SATAN GET BEHIND ME. If I *do* go for it, I am...

    Centigrade Coat

Tristar, my showerproof coat only took a few hours, washed it in the morning, hung it to dry and by tea-time it was ready to wear. I've a grey funnel neck coat from the range which is machine washable, much heavier and thicker material, that took a good day or so to be completely bone dry .

    Centigrade Coat

Snarly, I've got a showerproof centigrade coat which I've washed three times and it hasn't caused any problems, still just as good as when I bought it years ago!

My Best (I mean Worst) Christmas Present, thank you QVC

Super news Graham. Very pleased indeed. In the words of thingy from Dad's Army "they do not like it up 'em". Onward and upward for 2013 and all the very best to you.

    Morning everyone

Happy Christmas all. A very quiet day here and will be glad when it's over with. Wishing everyone the very best and get well thoughts to anyone under the weather or just feeling down and anxious. I've got my traditional Xmas headache now (and I'm tee total too!) so tea, bath and Downton Abbey...

    Why so much Emu?

Burlz, totally agree... So does Chris Addison. Sums it up better than I could. Just to say, this is NSFW and don't watch if you don't like the "F" word. Otherwise, fill your EMUs...

Graham - wishing you a peaceful Christmas and thanks for a great website

I echo everyone's sentiments. Massive thanks to Graham, Sazza and the team for all the hard work they've done in keeping this site going. It's a lifeline to me and provides good company and laughs. Here's hoping 2013 is better for you G-man. Very best wishes to everyone on here for a peaceful...

    Richard Head.

I remember Christopher Lillicrap! Here he is in action on "Flicks" - and if you look very closely, at the start of the clip a very young Debbie Shore from IW in her CITV days! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWHwmatSueU

She was poorly yesterday, coughing a lot during her shows...

    Richard Head.

The family GP when I was a child was called Dr Healed. When I was at secondary school we had an English (sadly not History) teacher called Sybil Waugh.

    Centigrade prices UP

It depends on the style of coat, Latchi. I would always suggest you check the sizing really carefully and listen to the actual measurements rather than what Q give out as the standard. XS can go from anything between 34 and 44 inch chest in the range! I've got 4 coats from Centigrade and I've...

    Centigrade prices UP

Indeed! Luckily the coat from last clicks fits with a thick sweater on underneath and it's very good quality, but I think they do just make the XS sizes up as they go along. Not good for tiny peeps like me

    Centigrade prices UP

Not only are the prices up, the sizes are too. I quite liked the look of the TSV coat, but would need the XS size. It's a 42 inch chest. 42?? That's ridic. I know it's a coat that is slightly more generous of cut anyway, but that's just stupid. The last Centigrade coat I bought was from last...

    Laura Geller TSV December

I've come to the same conclusion. I like everything very much, but the eyeshadows don't quite cut it for me. They are a bit too orangey when applied and even the darkest one goes slightly orangey when used as eyeliner. That said, everything else in the kit is super so on reflection it was still...

    Best discovery of 2012

Also I forgot to mention DOVE Hair Therapy Nourishing Oil Care Express Treatment Conditioner. I don't normally like Dove hair stuff, the shampoos and conditioners weight my hair down too much, but this intensive treatment is the business. When you squeeze it out of the tube it looks like the...

    Best discovery of 2012

You honestly can't beat those prices and the quality of the products is outstanding for that money. I think I remember seeing the article in which the Aldi cream beat Chanel, sure it was in the Daily Mail. The creams genuinely are good performing products, smell nice and keep the skin well...

    Best discovery of 2012

My best discovery this year has honestly been the beauty aisle in Lidl (don't laugh). I've tried their anti-ageing face cream £1.98 a jar and absolutely lovely, their hand washes 500ml for 55p, some lovely fragrances and my skin doesn't react to them, plus they last forevs. But far and away my...

Anna's gone up in my estimation in this hour:)

I like her very much. She's one of the few on there who has a very good grasp of proper English, she's got a nice style, she always looks smartly turned out and her blog is very eloquently written and funny too.

    Laura Geller TSV December

My TSV turned up yesterday, haven't had a chance to play with it yet - but just from looking at it, I'm sure I'll love it. The colours of the Porcelain B&B look pretty much the same as the one I'm using now. I was a bit worried about the lipgloss smelling strongly of coffee but it doesn't at...

    12P P&P on 12th December

Think I'll be going for that, it's one of the few things that they do sell very cheaply compared to other places and I use it most days. Hooo!
