I agree with previous comments - used to love Thorntons years ago, but all of the chocolates seem the same now, sticky and heavy - I buy Lindt now, the chocolate is so much smoother, and all the different flavours are actually... different! lol.

It is personal taste, isn't it - but having just received last weeks TSV including the new African collection.... I don't like the Serengeti Sunset at all (luckily there's only 2 votives! lol), too fruity and very heavy, but love the Kilimanjaro Stars as it's very similar to my all time retired...

I have several Kipling bags, and the Avlar is my favourite too, I have two, both bought in the Kipling Outlet store at Gunwharf Quays. I only look at Kipling now in the outlet store as their prices have become too high in my opinion, and I don't like the cheap looking plastic, or metal monkeys...

I don't think it works because the product guests (sorry, ambassadors!) are sales promoters, familiar with their own products, and on QVC purely to promote their own range - and you can see they're uncomfortable, and have no interest in enthusing about anything else.

I think it's a shame... dunno how they slid down the hill, so to speak. When Ideal World first started it was a refreshing change to QVC with the late, lovely Steve Whatley, Ellis, Shaun and Loen much easier to watch than the QVC presenters who took themselves so seriously - I was entertained...

maybe this is a new line they are taking. I've had reviews posted in the past that are not 100% positive, I try to be objective, but definitely mention any negative points, and give the appropriate star rating - and all my reviews have been published

Fingers crossed for a set of jars not available here - some of the USA summer fragrances look lovely, and they're bringing back Country Linen for a while in the USA too...my all-time favourite - so I'd definitely order if that was included in the TSV!!

I have to say that having tried a couple of Village Candles, I do prefer Yankee because there never seems to be any artificial scent from them... sometimes the fragrances are a bit weak, but in my experience the scent you get from Yankee is what you expect. I ordered Warm Buttered Bread VC...
