I used to love watching DF but have found her so hard sell lately that I switch her off, she talks about buying a computer like it's a loaf of bread, personally I think she needs a big reality check and the sooner the better.

I can't watch her to me she comes across as cold, hard and calculating.

Well done IW for responding promptly with your problem, it's just a pity that it seems that your response from IW seems to be the exception rather than the rule from what I see.

That's really bad customer service from IW. When our Grundig which was purchased from a supplier on Ebay stopped working we were offered cash back or swap replacement and I did say to OH that we could get the cash back and buy a replacement from IW as it had the 3 year warranty but OH said it...

Nerver yet been given a bouquet of bulbs :giggle: As they love to tell us compare like with like if I buy flowers then I know exactly what I am getting not so if I buy the bulbs.

I had a similar issue with mine the light came on and the motor didn't but not sure why, like you I left it till the next day when the motor stirred a little but wouldn't switch off until I unplugged it. I had purchased mine from Valueland on Ebay so contacted them and they sent a replacement...

I thought that was a good deal as it had the 3 year warranty. I thought the same about the edge beater so I bought the Kitchenaid flex beater from Amazon which I received yesterday so I haven't tried it yet only to check that it fits and it does so will be giving it a go the weekend.

See to me it is a real bargain, for £25 I have 2 lids (or spill stoppers as Kuhn call them:cheeky:) and it would have cost me that for one on the Kuhn website. It's no more boring than a set of saucepans or the cleaning cloths the other day.

I sort of see what you mean, although I only normally watch shopping channels if it is something I might be interested in or if I have it on in the background, I never really thought of QVC as an entertainment channel. I must admit I watched it and have ordered a couple after spending 10 mins...

Great customer service, I have had my soup maker (from IW) for over 2 years when it burnt out, so got in touch with CS and they confirmed it had a 3 year warranty so they send me a prepaid label and within what must have been a couple of days of them receiving it back they send me out a brand...

Was this from the POTD last weekend? I can't for the life of me understand why they are selling them without a UK plug and if they are then they should tell you before you purchase that you will need to buy an adaptor to be able to use it. I bought one from Ebay for £128.99 plus free postage...

Thanks, I have had a look at the reviews on Amazon and it seems to be okay so I have ordered one. The Grundig on IW was £299.99 when I looked last night

Does anyone who purchased the Grundig food mixer have any opinions on it, I am considering buying it but can't make up my mind whether to go for a kenwood.

I agree, I would only use LE and it was only after reading on here that I realised I wasn't imagining it and the C&P had changed. I now see the LE the business woman and am no longer taken in by the soft voice and smile.
