Todays Top Tech TSV 19/12/24
TSV is from AmazonTodays Top Tech TSV 19/12/24
that is correct its the amazon fire operating system so not the full android systemI know it’s a reasonable price but I’m sure I read somewhere that it’s not a full android operating system. Amazon changed it a few years ago to their version. Don’t know if this true. Couldn’t face LH waffling on to Alexa and not giving the full technical specs.
Oh for the days of Tim Goodwin and L J Rich.
Glad I come here and get real information. I watched the presentation and he sounded shifty.that is correct its the amazon fire operating system so not the full android system
I think he glossed over the fact that it has the Amazon operating system. If there’s a product on that LH is demonstrating I ALWAYS go to the brand’s website and look at their technical specifications.Glad I come here and get real information. I watched the presentation and he sounded shifty.
Amazon Fire Tablets have never had full Android systems.I know it’s a reasonable price but I’m sure I read somewhere that it’s not a full android operating system. Many companies put their own custom front ends on . Is why you often see Google promote the Pixel phone as "native Android experience". Its all the same under the hood when you get something from Lenovo, Nokia, Samsung etc - its just the user interface has been changed so as you say one handset to the next isn't always the same user experience. My Nokia Android is completely different to my daughter's Samsung Android, she couldn't even use my phone to show me how to use it, so I don't.
