They still have two original (well nearly two) members. Graham Gouldman, of course. Plus drummer Paul Burgess who played alongside Kevin Godley - mainly on their tours from 1973…For me…this is the best live version of Rubber Bullets…Paul Burgess plays on this BBC In Concert show from 1974.. One of my favourite ever bands..

They are on tour in the UK until early November, if you fancy seeing them.

When my husband goes to get his hair cut, the hairdresser always says to him, I know you're retired, but you aren't 65 yet, so I can't charge you pensioners rates. My husband is 70, but is too vain to tell her, even if it means saving money.
I was given a 20% seniors discount in a restaurant in Florida. I was 56 at the time. Didn’t correct them albeit a bit insulted as I was sure I didn’t look 65. Found out afterwards that this restaurant classed anyone over 55 as a senior. 🤣

Gen wants a Weather watch, of course cause it raining in London then the rest of the country must be having miserable weather.

Is it rain, cold, snowing? let us know she says.

Nah, it's clear blue skies, shades and almost t-shirt weather, has been for a couple of days.

Don’t they have their own weather forecast service?

When I get to the age of pensioners rates, I can assure you that my meanness is a more powerful emotion than my vanity🤣🤣🤣

True story, I bought a butter knife in Lakeland a few years ago and the very young lady on the till was being trained. She scanned the item and an age warning must have flashed up on the screen. She looked at the person training her for advice. This lady said "well..." then looked towards me. Clearly meaning "this customer is middle aged, she is waaay past 18!!" But this was Lakeland and they are polite so she didn't actually say that🤣

To be fair, it's possible you could have been a teenager ... a very rough looking teenager granted ... who hadn't been using enough Opatra red light therapy :)

Errrr, yes. Why?

Got a flat coated circular pan for doing microwave chips, mainly.

And bought these for just over a tenner as I had TJC credit to use with discount codes/free p&p:

Was looking for feedback on them. Had seen the Rangemate on IW a while ago and it being repeated reminded me kind of thing.

Have a small George Forman, but dislike the mess it gets into, so intrigued as to how well these bits of kit work.

That one looks similar to the Lekue one that Lakeland sell.

Have picked up a Cooks Essentials version for very little, if its crap then not much lost. If I find its decent and use it enough I may invest in a bigger/better one.

That's because you are North of the Wall and made of sterner stuff.
I've just been out for the first time today and it's bliddy freezing😬. But I'm a soft Southerner who needs a Sherpa blanket if the weather goes under 70 degrees! If only I knew where I could buy one to keep me warm...
