I used to look forward to watching Joan Rvers. She was genuinely funny and she also knew her jewellery. I have one her interchangeable Faberge egg basket pendants that I still wear.
Agreed, Joan Rivers was a true star - they must have felt her regal presence the second she swept into QVC Towers in a cloud of expensive perfume! Her costume jewellery was excellent too IMO, I have a few pieces purchased back in the day, and the design and quality have stood the test of time.

YES!!! Bravo - it was Lenny from Nina Leonard. Does QVC still sell that brand?
Yes, but I don't think they have a permanent BA for it any longer - it's often Jenny Blackhurst, but I think I've seen others doing it as well. What they don't sell any longer on QVCUK is Susan Graver style (same era) - only on US QVC now.

Just realised we don’t see the Attitudes range from Renee “I never check luggage” Greenstein any more either.
I quite miss her showing us how to be a “wardrobe warrior” by shoving a selection of “buffet waistband” trousers and tops into a tote bag.

I had a couple of pairs of her jeans which did me alright for a while.

Thanks for the update - these threads are showing me how out of touch I am with today's QVC. It wasn't a conscious choice, I just stopped watching a while back, because it got dull. Too many irritants like the supposed experts who never actually share any expertise (which would be fascinating), but speak in constant cliches. And I'm afraid far too many dislikeable presenters now.

We all have our favourite QVC faces of course, and even a sneaking fondness for some of the annoying old guard (they're like a comfortable old armchair you can't throw out). But too many dreadful hams have been let in the building (I think the rot started with Chloe). In the absence of better offers, they will likely stay beyond retirement age, so I'm out! I wonder how many other viewers they've lost in the last decade?

Ah Renee from 'Attitudes', another of those fun, upbeat characters who used to rock up to the studio and put a bit of fizz into the TSVs etc. Those days are long gone, alas.

How funny, I had completely forgotten about her 'buffet waistbands', LMAO! It conjures up images of enormous, bejewelled ladies on cruises, dressed head to toe by QVC in stretchy top-and-culottes combos - making umpteen return trips to the buffet, safe in the knowledge they'll never bust a button!
