Do you leave it for about 8 hours as recommended for Easiyo sachets? And does it set quite thick? I have found it harder and harder to get Easiyo to set properly. I usually have to leave it an hour or two longer at least and that’s using a bit of hot water in the mix instead of cold from the tap, as well as standing the flask somewhere warm, like near a radiator. I also find after using a bit of the newly made yoghurt, next time I go to use it, there’s loads of liquid on the top (whey?) which makes it even runnier if I stir it back in.

I usually make it in the morning and open it the next morning, it is always set and firm enough. SS milk is firmer than S, but SS fresh milk was like drinking yogurt.

I have 3 x 1 litre pots on the go, one brewing, one sterilised, and one for eating. I sterilise with boiling water, wait until cool enough to handle (still hot) then use this in the yogurt maker, as this saves water and electricity.

You will need a starter, either an easiyo you've just made, or a pot of natural shop yogurt.

I still wear my Las Vegas gem - pink sapphire rings, and the sparkle is off the scale !

I didn't start buying from QVC until 2003, so all my jewellery was bought after 9/11. The days when gold was cheap and the design were stunning.
 
Oh, the time when gold was cheap. I used have, I will not spend more than £40 if I really love £45. And got gorgeous pieces, from Gems TV as called back then, rings with 4 grams of gold in them.

I used to buy from a lady who made her own jewellery on eBay, she used 9ct gold and I used to buy earrings with gemstones. I used to ask for the stones I wanted, and the most I spent was around £30. Then gold when up and suddenly the same earrings cost £60-80! People started selling their broken gold, we had a thread down in the drop here with the best places to sell. I sold some lightweight chains and no stones but gold earrings. They did not even fill the palm of my hand and I got £300+ and bought a new laptop.

I know she's been mentioned in this thread, but watching Balinese jewellery on Gems TV reminded me of her. How is Suarti? Is she still making? Haven't seen her on QVC for 'ever'. If I recall, my mother said that she looked unwell on one of the shows she was on. And, as I'm here: One post covers all ;) Does anyone remember the Native American Statues, Capodimonte and actual Native American Jewellery? I miss those. Got a lot from those shows, as well as Suarti. :)

Not sure, but if they did dolls, I wouldn't watch that so couldn't tell on that either ;)

I wore an overshirt today by ....... Indigo Moon ! Last week to a barbie I wore one of my many beaded Dreamkeeper ponchos. Buy different, keep forever.

I've got a Devore dream keeper shawl. It had beads round the bottom but I had to cut the off as I found pulled threads on a dress.
 
Does anyone remember Liquid Silver? I only saw a couple of shows and had fancied a necklace.

As it happens, I came across a very similar necklace while visiting relatives in the USA. It was half the price of the QVC version, which with the exchange rate at the time eventually cost me less than a quarter of the QVC price.

I still have it and wore it regularly until Lockdown.

I also have a lovely heavy silver cuff from Taxco Traditions.
 
Can’t remember her name but it was the lady that did lovely washable suede. Not suedette.

I always used to have problems with Easiyo not setting until recently when someone on QVC said what they do is fill the clear container to the line mark with tap water, put the Easiyo packet in and shake it up well, then top off to about half an inch from the screw mark with boiling water, shake again, screw the lid back on and put in the red container filled with water to about an inch above the dip line and that works for me. Keep it in the covered red container overnight or however long you need and I don't get too much liquid at the end. I don't know why they don't say that at every demo of the product. I made the mistake once of not filling up the red container with boiling water to an inch or so above the dip line (ie where it goes down) and it set, but not as well. Hope this helps.
