Not been watching much recently. I'll occasionally catch a bit of Pedro but it's the same old, same old with him ("last in stock", "you'll never see these again", "these shouldn't be this low, someone has made a mistake", gurning to camera, changing his situation depending on what he's selling etc.). Even the car crash element that he provides doesn't appeal at the moment. The majority of the other presenters I either can't stand (Mother Teresa, Disingenuous and Vol-au-vent) or I don't have much interest in watching for prolonged periods (Emma, Mike of the Market Stall, Yiannis).

The older I get the more I hate large stadium gigs. Although as for legroom Victorian and Edwardian theatres in London are pretty rubbish as well. And I'm only 5'2", I feel so sorry for tall men.

Same for me now.
IW2 did, of course, have many of the same tics and tropes (especially if Pedro or watches were on) but it was more often than not entertaining, if sometimes the wrong reasons. Light hearted, almost. But there were brands (with real heritage), there were good deals, there were dated/real price comparisons, and, watches aside, it never left me feeling angry - bemused, rolling my eyes, yes, but usually laughing at the same time...
IW3 is, for me, devoid of that. It's so low-rent. The "products" are just a procession of cheap no-brand cr*p that is for the most part massively overpriced (£20 on IW or £1.20 on AliExpress), and the presentations exploitive, laboured, heavy on omissions, light on detail, fake claims (Duchamp is a real bloke! This handbag could be designer as it hasn't got a tag! This is a cure-all!), fake price comparisons, and all the rest. Watching it for too long leaves me feeling …worn out and quite angry that they can operate like that.
Oh how innocent the days of ribbing IW2 for flogging a Tefal AirFryer £10 more than Argos while claiming on-screen it was "a market beating price"...
Ideal World today is like a selly telly watch: defunct brand name bought up and slapped on inferior, low-quality product by an outfit of chancers.

Ok, from a business perspective there's the captive audience/market aspect to pricing like this. However, if we collectively voted with our wallets / Apple Pay, and didn't buy this stuff at those prices, the businesses involved would have no choice but to adjust their pricing, or close.
Thankfully, for them, we tend to just put up, shut up and pay! Tis the British way ...

It might appear that I watch quite a bit of selly telly the way I comment on this and that.
I don't. I have no reason to lie, if I watched more I'd tell you.
What I do is dip in every now and then, sometimes with a gap of days between. When I do dip in, I need only watch for a minute or so (literally) as that's long enough to see some sort of bullsh1t take place. And when you're long time viewers like us, you don't need to watch much of their coverage to know what's going on.
