Well that was a different Yiannis during those 2 hours of Crafting, a lot calmer, no hard sell, he was very relaxed with the Guest, and it said Crafting on IW, has been in the making for 5 months.
They could have the best craft products in the world on, but I still wouldn’t watch or buy.
Absolutely detest all the IW presenters for any number of reasons.

Best looking watch you will see on IW🤔🤣Timeless classic from 1957 and still going strong😀

Actually some nice watches have appeared on IW, just not for sale. ;) 🤣

Foghorn & Verbal Diarrhea - Cartier Santos
Voulevant - Rolex Submariner
Bald headed Gimp - Omega Seamaster
Pedro - Rolex
Drone bore - Rolex

Was quite a few on the old IW

Strangely, despite them claiming to buy IW watches, the only time you see any of them wear an IW watch is when it's being promoted for a show later that day.

ps

Have to give Den a bit of credit , she bought (probably got a really, really good discount) Mathey-Tissot blue Edmond watch (the one of Bombay Glass fame 🤣 ) and she has wore it quite often during shows and on other channels she's been at since the old IW's demise.

IW are late to the party with trying to pick up on craft as the new you tube channel The Craft Store has only just started and HobbyMaker seems to have gained a lot of new companies recently but possibly the promise of doing the craft shows is what lured Yiannis onto IW originally. I don’t personally like his smarmy presenting style and can’t imagine IW will gain traction in the craft industry unless they bring back someone like Dean who seemed to be a favourite with a lot of crafters. He’s another one who was so besotted with himself I failed to see his charm so that wouldn’t work for me.

Yiannis did say it had taken 5 or 6 months to get the crafting going, and he said he wanted to start a crafting community on the channel.

I agree about Dean, Like you say he was a big favourite from the crafters, I remember when he left when they moved from Peterborough to Oundle, Emailers seemed to be sad that he was leaving.

Is that why during a Watch Show, Peter never does it up, and just lets it smash against the desks

Yes you never see them wear an IW brand🤔 Always amuses me😀
Having a collection of watches, I always like to give them all some wrist time in rotation.

I think I remember a few of the craft companies lost a lot of money with the demise of the first IW. A lot did as well with the original C&C going tits up. I wonder if they’re wary of entering into business with IW3 albeit they’re owned by TJC.

I agree about Yannis, smarmy and character less. Dean is ok in small doses but he’s in the Cruise channel these days as well as Derek Marks.

Watched the Stamps by Me show yesterday. I couldn’t tell if it was selling well or not, even though Yiannis said it was, while being fixated on Toni
I didn’t watch it as I had to get my quarterly blood test yesterday. I never really took to Toni Darroch and her products were not to my style of crafting.

I see YouGarden are going on the Craft Store. They sell on QVC too.

I see that they're hawking that rubbish weight loss belt again. I just texted in asking why if it really works then why isn't Sally Jacks using one? I wonder if they'll read it out? 🤣

The way they treat watches is shocking, it's the opposite of what you see in a jewelers where they treat/handle watches with a bit of care.

The old IW used to have an ebay shop where they used to sell off returned and ex-display/show watches a bit cheaper, i not sure if the new IW do that, will have to check.
