Must be in a grumpy mood so ignore me but Angeline, over the last two days, is in full patronising mode.

Yesterday it was about "seesaw economics" from an article in Gem Guide. You know, the basics of pricing and how supply and demand are key, all accompanied by exaggerated hand movements you'd be encouraged to use as a nursery school teacher/TA. Today it's a plastic handbag - with charm (image 1). The details online don't say anything about the materials used but I assume, at £29.99, it's full-on plastic and brass or even polymer clay fittings . Cue comparison website BS galore.

First, she compared it to a similar style for ~$300 but quickly muttered that it wasn't the same material (I assume leather, not plastic!). Quick search for similar shows £30 to be about right and hardly competitive, image 2? Then, when the price was still at £49.99 she talked about "validating" that price for the dyed onyx charm alone by pulling up charms at the likes of Astley Clarke at £50 and her lowest comparison was for another at ~£38. Two second Google search attached (image 3) shows realistic price comparisons of ~£2.

End of grumpy rant about the gaslighting, patronising BS.

I really can’t stand their presenters. Have to mute them if I watch for a stone I like in hopes there’ll be something worth buying . They remind me of the presenters on CBBC when it used to be on for my daughter. Calling them patronising is being kind I.m.o.

Angeline is a viper, so selling a fake python skin bag seems like the perfect tat for her to pitch.I can smell the plastic chemical PU leather in my head, yuck!

Is there any hope of this channel finding its way back? No! I don't think so, not as long as they have the likes of DT, Angeline and Ellis they will never give up their egos won't allow them. I find them really offensive they lie, think we are idiots on the list goes on. Knowingly sell poor quality goods for outrageous prices all the smiling. I watched Katie yesterday for about 2 minutes couldn't take any more.

That gemstone looks good, as an ornament. You have to be of the right mindset to be 'that into' the healing side of stones: I've tried to no avail, now any stones I have are purely for the stone and NOT what it's supposed to do. Having said that, do you think Lynn will return now they are doing an all-in 'her type of show' again? Although, said tongue in cheek, if you bought two of the spheres and one of the 'wands' or whatever they are called, do you think an impotent chap could manifest a crystal healing using their combined powers?

As much as we mock the presenters on here, many of them were better years ago.

They got worse when Wagstaffe was MD, and worse still when Jake became MD.

It's clear that the presenters are only following orders from the very top.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, bit in my opinion, Gemporia is beyond repair under the current owners and management.

It needs new owners, new ideas and a new facelift.

I can't see that happening though.

At the very least, for an immediate improvement, Jake should be replaced as MD ASAP, and both him and Troth should be given their P45s.

Those two are the biggest problem at Gemporia in my opinion.
