I am going to have to give up watching QCV as for the past month or so EVERY time I turn over it is yet more unflattering, polyester so called fashion. Why can't we have normal clothes for normal women, get real QVC most of us don't want to waft about looking like our granny's.
Having said that my granny wouldn't be seen dead in most of the offerings QVC are showing us right now.

are you watching michele 'no hope' of ever designing anything we'd want to wear ?

I can`t watch her at all. I think she is the strangest looking woman on tv and quite frightening. Like a throwback from the 80s and her clothes are vile.
I get the impression that Julia Roberts can`t stand her too. I remember a couple of occassions watching them and MH can be so cutting and sarcastic. Is she about 60 as she looks like Mutton dressed as Lamb to me with that tango look . Julia looks stunning sitting next to MH.

It's expensive too (plus P&P!). Has anyone ever seen the average person wearing this stuff out on the high street? Who knows who her target market is supposed to be!

It's not just MH - Nina Leonard and Kim and Co are much the same.

I know !! Forty notes for a tacky NYLON top OR skirt, an absolute disgrace, just think what you could purchase in M+S for the same amount of money :cross::cross:

I have bought a few Michele Hope items in the past and have been very pleased with them. I don't understand though, why everything she produces now has to have sequins or lace. I don't do 'frilly bits' so have not bought anything recently.

I know that I have an acquired style but even I was beginning to worry that I've not made any purchases of said style garments. Perhaps I beginning to get trendy!

You could get a lot for that sort of money at even the good shops like Wallis etc. and that would be semi-trendy. Even clothes in Primark look better than the qvc stuff and you could by about 20 outfits for the price of one there!!

It is so old fashioned - and whilst I am not 'ultra trendy' - a bit past it at my age - don't think I could get away with some of those very very short shorts that are all the rage. I still like to be a bit of a fashionista and not dress like a corpse! :31:

Michele Hope is a nutcase !

I don`t see what was so funny just and she really embarrassed Charlie. This woman is vile so are her clothes.

She just started laughing for no reason. Then she said stop it Charlie and he looked totally gobsmacked and tried to carry on presenting this vile Cranberry number , all you could hear was her laughing and she was almost hysterical and spluttering and it all just sounded so contrived and phoney. The poor guy was left looking bewildered. Next show, some loon starts throwing lock and lock on the floor and eating birthday cake and Charlie was trying to present whilst Magnum Tupperware PI guy had a gobfull of cake .

All in all it wasnt a great day for poor Charlie, who i never really liked but who i have mucho admiration for now :10:
