I'm kind of thinking hideous! I only use the melts but it seems to me that the last few haven't had much smell or the smell hasn't lasted long. I don't keep a note of the one I'm burning and tend to just buy and throw in a bag and take pot luck when I take out a new one to melt. Maybe I've just become used to them but I'm inclined to think that they are not as good as previously - new name but reduced smellability.
I also agree. I follow good burning "guidelines" but I'm lucky to get a jar that burns evenly. Generally stick to the tarts but it's nice to have a candle burning when the nights draw in, so it's a shame they can't seem to get it right lately.
I was having a lot of trouble with jars tunneling a while ago, but I seem to have turned a corner with that now. As long as I monitor them and turn they every hour or so, I tend to find they are ok, fingers crossed.
I so agree with this, I love to have a jar candle burning when it's cold, wet & dark outside.
When the weather was lovely a month or so ago I didn't have candles on for a while, but I have been doing again the last couple of weeks.
My OH will be pleased - I'm out of this one. I like melt warmers and I do have a couple around our house, but where I position them there are no sockets so I don't own any electronic ones.
I agree the 'owl' could go either way with looking cute or hideous, much like the tea pot did. I like novelty stuff generally, but the tea pot was a no no on both the fact it was electronic and it was horrid looking. lol!
I bet this turns out to be a 'hot pick' or something.
YC sent me an email earlier in the week advertising their 4 Christmas swirl candles, so maybe it's two of them.
Well I am sitting here in the full throes of whooping cough and am desperate for YC to give me the chance to console myself with a purchase! I want the Autumn large jars as a reward for struggling through the nightmare!!! I do not think an owl melt warmer will crack it. Funny how that is two electric ones so close though, they must have noted all the comments.

Yeah, just a pity they didn't note that we want a plainish one with a removable dish not a bliddy tea pot or owl.

the plainish one with a removable bit they done a while ago was in clearence for quite a while so maybe thats why they aint doing one like that
