Someone on their Facebook page said they received the letter, but the drop was shipped yesterday.
I returned the first set as I didn't like them at all. My Cassis candle from the second drop only gives off a very faint smell which I do like but would prefer it to be stronger. I cancelled the subsequent drops after smelling the cafe culture collection in a shop. I managed to smell the African collection and liked two of them but didn't like the Madagascan Orchid and Kilimanjaro one. I'm coming round to your way of thinking that it's better to try first rather than take a chance.I think it's only worth going with QVC if the scents are literally not available elsewhere most of the time! I now prefer to smell them before I buy...
Everyone raves about the pure essence fragrances, but the only one I like is Cassis. Aloe Water and Shea Butter are bland to me. The only one of the Grand Bazaar I liked was the Frankincense. I'm now waiting to have a nose in the jar for some of the African series to see if I like any of those. Normally that would probably be in Clintons Cards, or Fenwicks. They haven't got them yet, but I'm prepared to wait! I've smelled all the café culture ones, and not a single one appeals to me, I'm afraid. Oh, and I saw them in the card shop months ago - so QVC are now shockingly behind the pace.
Mine arrived this morning. All gorgeous I am happy to say. The choices, I think, they have given us this year have made a welcome change. I've kept everything so far when previously I could always rely on at least one or two through the year that I was happy to pass on as presents!
Mine arrived too! I love them but not sure how the Cappuccino Truffle one will smell burning - I'll give it a go though.
I didn't like all the Grand Bazaar or all the Pure Essence ones but knew I'd prefer this and am looking forward to the October one. So far they've all been generally available - does anyone know if the last three will be or are they more exclusive?
