Im carrying a fair bit of weight myself lovingallthingsitalian, dreading squeezing into my summer clothes :-(
But Im usually 14/16 and the wwc trousers I have are medium and are fine on me, not too clingy. I did get Large first time, but they were too big so sent back and got a medium which were perfect. Give them a go :)

thats great - think I'll give them a try but not the crops as I would want to wear them this side of the ice age

Have to say they looked nice on JR when I saw the black she was wearing on the rieker footwear show. She was however sitting down.....be scared of crops when you stand up!!

I wear these sorts of things under dresses that are too short so for me they are ideal. I wouldn't dream of wearing them without my bum covered though!

You know my mum got me some of these kind of kecks that were for men, I tried wearing them for dinner when on holiday, they were tight, uncomfortable and made everything very hot and sweaty, felt like I was going to burst and my bum stuck out like I had a bussle on. Think mum said they were avons slimming pants for men. Gosh I never knew till then how uncomfortable women must be in these Nylon/spandexy things! Felt I had Speedos on as underwear

I love crop trousers and live in them all Summer (too hot here to wear full length trousers). Being 5'8" they normally come just under my knees which is good as I don't like my knees. Also I always tend to wear tunic or longer length tops with them and neutral coloured shoes. I think the shoes are important to carry off the trousers.

I saw these on the show today and thought they looked nice THEN I read the reviews. Apparently they look more like!e leggings than trousers. Phew saved from an unwanted purchase.

I think that you would need to be fairly tall to look OK in these crops. I watched the launch of the TSV at midnight and thought that they were too long on Marverine and even on most of the models. I'm only 5 foot tall so they are a no for me, I would just look like my trousers had shrunk to half-masters in the wash! I need to buy pedal pushers to get the crop trouser look and long shorts to get a pedal-pusher length on me. Oh the joys of being a short a*se !!!

I liked the cowl neck top Marverine was wearing in the TSV launch, and one of the models was wearing it in another colour so assume it's a QVC item. Any ideas anyone? I liked the tops Jill Franks was wearing yesterday too on the Honora hours - one shouldered with a flower on one side, she wore it in a plum colour and later in black, so again assume it was QVC items. Very rare occurrence for QVC clothing to pique my interest but that's twice in 24 hours!

I bought these the last time they were a TSV in black and white. Now I'm 5' 2" and they are fine for me and I gave them a 5* review, because of the fit and thickness of material, without actually wearing them, however...they are a very thick type legging rather than trouser and the black picks up everything, to the point I couldn't wear them out, so only wear them when I'm exercising at home.
Now I'm a size 14 and bought the small which fit me fine, however had I gone for a medium they would be a lot looser, therefore maybe look like a trouser rather than leggings.

These looked dreadful on Marverine - all you saw were thunderthighs, and the top she wore at midnight just wasn't right for them - too short and too formal. OH and I agreed they looked badly cut and flattered no-one, not even the models. I'm tall and need knee coverage, but not with this range.
