Does anyone know anything about this brand and how it compares to Meaco?
QVC bought the brand earlier this year from my research

QVC do not own Kalorik.

I'm wondering whether to get this one or the 12L one by Meaco with added air purifier which is currently £179.88.

I need to know will I need replacement filters and if so where from and how much are they and how often do they need changing? 🤔

I have got a Meaco ABC 12 litre one and you just clean the filter on this model. I bought one from QVC this time last year, no make on it and just a scrappy bit of paper with instructions on. It seemed very flimsy to me . I didn't even try it, packed it up and sent it back. Ordered a Meaco direct from manufacturers. Very happy with it. Hope this is of some help.

The filters, as others have said just need cleaning every so often. We try and remember to do them about once a month. You just take them off, bang all the collected dust and whatever into the bin and click them back in. A bit like cleaning the lint that collects in a tumble dryer.

Interesting. I googled "Kalorik" and "dehumifier" and the only links were QVC or supercoolwillow's link to QVC on hotukdeals.co.uk. Unless someone can do better than me?

So is it a new venture Kalorik are trying out and QVC has bought all the initial stock or what, so they're looking for its first reviews? I don't like being a guineapig unwittingly, the jury's out and my money is safe.

I agree. I've gone for the Meaco 10L Arrete 2 which is the latest version of the dehumidifier and air purifier. I'd rather go for a trusted brand.

I looked up Kalorifik and they seem to be a well established Belgian company. However they only have small products like coffee machines , air fryers etc, on their website. I wonder if the dehumidifier and heated airer as made exclusively for QVC and as Mina suggests QVC customers are being used as Guinea pigs for the brand.

I have the Ebac powerdri 18 with a 3.5l water container, it does have a drainage kit.

I had my original Ebac for many years until I had to replace it at the end of last year.

It has several settings but I use the clothes setting and it is very effective.

I hoover the filter once or twice a week and the filter has to be replaced about every 3-4 months, I got a great deal when I purchased my new machine so I have stocked up.
