Just watching a Kim & Co show this morning (and Kim is there) . It seems like it is a show of all the most awful garments in the most awful prints that she has ever made. This used to be a brand I spent a lot of money on but I would put most of this in the charity shop (and be embarrassed).

I have bought quite a few Kim and Co dresses over the years, but nothing for a long time. Don't like the prints one bit.

Same here Anna. I have a grey crepe dress and a black cowl neck dress they do wash well and don't need ironing. I have a strappy top and skirt in a print but it is about 12 years old and only goes on holiday but is nothing like the prints she brings now.

I noticed that the print designs had taken a leap downwards a few years ago.In the old days I could be quite tempted by the designs and colour ways available. Now they are garish and old fashioned. My guess is she changed her print suppliers/ design studio.

They say they design everything themselves but I can't believe that. They surely have stats that show what sold and what didn't. I guess these offerings are the "what didn't". I have Kim's dresses that I bought 10 or more years ago and I still wear them and I still get compliments. Look at what Kim is wearing right now - it's awful.

Oh my word at the 3pm show Julia is in pains to stress she has a long body and short legs.

But then in my eyes the long draped tunic top teamed with legging look today, only seems to enhance that still further.

But what do I know, I don’t have access to a stylist and the Q wardrobe.

Me too CC. Many years ago she did some 'ditzy' print maxi dresses with spaghetti straps - one had a matching jacket, and I bring them out every summer, worn with a cobweb shrug. I cant even remember when she last did spaghetti straps, but my dresses have stood the test of time.

I think she's trying to be all things to all people, with knitteds, crepes, and didn't even do trousers when she first started on Q but that is now a bit part of her range. I did buy her petite wide leg palazzos in black which have been great, but she never does pockets in her trousers which I do struggle not having.

I noticed that she pointed out to us that she was wearing the medium top because the model got to the small first. Well Julia, that was lucky for you because the medium only just about fitted you across the bust in the medium.

Unlike myself Julia has slim arms and gets away with tight fitting across the chest upper garments. I would think if her arms were more ample she would struggle with movement. Loads of times I hear her comment about how garments sit on her shoulder line that they mustn’t drop off her shoulders. They can in the past be tight all over her chest and midriff but she’s focused on how the item is on her shoulders. Though more recently she appears to be going for the drape from the bustline smock look.

It’s funny how different we all are. Previous post about pockets in trousers - I hate them and the first thing I do is sew them up! I carry my weight in the hips so I feel gaping pockets (and they all do on me) just adds unwanted inches and to actually put anything in them I would look like nelly the elephant.

I noticed that almost every item is on 2 or 3 easy pays, is it because it is now so expensive?

Ironic that the prices went up at the same time the quality went down!

I'm completely in agreement about the past wearable prints and styles. I always look to see if there's anything tempting but, sadly, there never is. Even Kim often looks a fright, whereas in the past she always looked a million dollars in her clothes.

It's not just Kim's prints which are horrifying. Anyone seeing the Jolie Moi shows will have seen some ghastly prints. Maybe it's the latest trend?

OMG, I was going to start a post about that Jolie Moi range last night - how ****** awful were those dresses!! To be fair Jill Franks did a sterling job of modelling one of them and making it look half decent but the models looked a right old mess. Ghastly Moi methinks.

I watched a Jolie Moi show the other day and Jo, the 6ft tall model was one of two models they used. The other model was shorter and the dresses looked ok on her, size-wise... but they looked badly proportioned for Jo, with the waist almost an empire line, and Jo looked visibly uncomfortable. Why don't QVC stylists tell them to go for more normal height women to represent customers better?

Agree. The models must know they look awful and it must affect they way they show the clothes, i.e. do their job. When Sofia, the larger model is doing Nina Leonard shows I cringe for her when they put her in above the knee dresses as she just looks awful, below knee/mid calf and she looks amazing.

My 12 year old grand daughter loves those adult colouring books full of patterns, swirls and shapes and she always colours them in bright gaudy colours so maybe Kim`s design team are all 12 too and with a liking for colouring books ?

How does Kimmy ramble on with random words tumbling out of her mouth without taking a breath.Giggle,giggle.?
