What happens to loose gemstone auctions????

I used to love the loose gemstone auctions on the web. Sometimes you could get a real bargain. Anyone know what happened to them????

I don't know either - I have a couple and would love to add to my collection. I sometimes see them on Gems Xtra but very rarely.

They should make a channel selling nothing but loose gems, call it the Gems Collector or something like that ...... Oh wait
