I accidentally switched on either 'Bid' or 'Price-Drop' on Saturday night.
They were selling an SBC Collagen Body Butter duo for £8.99 + £7.99 P&P + £1.53 Phone call charge. Total price was £18.51.

QVC are selling the exact same duo for £24.24 + £4.95 P&P - Total price £29.19.
I did double check that the sizes were the same etc and they seemed to be exactly the same.
When I was watching, they had sold about 700 of the duos at that point.

Considering how much QVC must sell of SBC's products, this seems a total rip-off IMO.
I have no idea if the other channel sells any other SBC items as I never watch them, but it was an excellent price compared to Q.

I can't imagine Q will be too happy with this TBH.
But it shows that the 'V' in QVC just doesn't seem to apply any more.

I wonder whether Bid has mopped up all the stock in the older style packaging for a knock-down price? Nonetheless it's the same contents and QVC could have done the same and shifted them as a Super Bargain Price.

Ah yes the buying power that seems to make QVC money and save us nothing!!!

Even their wonderful sales only have a few pounds off when the dreaded high street can cut prices by half or more to get rid of old stock!

WELL SPOTTED MRMARPLE !

The whole concept of "QVC" has long since past its sell by date.

Q for quality ..... yes like in the market stall tat often being offered
V for value ....... hmmmmm like as now, the 'buying power' has been left at the starting blocks
C for convenience ........ yes, like waiting over a week for something we can nip down the shops for in half an hour !

It should be renamed to shopping channel "C"............ chronic !!!!
