I got the Hair One to try - only £5.5o from Amazon. Tried it this morning on my fine, just above shoulder length hair. I agree with Akimbo, it does need rinsing really well at the end.I am so far delighted with it. My hair is very soft and shiny with lots of bounce. The one I got was cucumber although I couldn't detect any fragrance.
It remains to be seen if it lasts but so far so good.

Thanks Von I might get around to trying this eventually, I've got a stock pile of wen since the summer sale! So much in fact that I've resisted the current offer!

Hi Alter Ego, so glad it's working for you; if you try the Pomegranate could you let me know how it smells. I had it in and out of my basket all weekend but finally resisted because there'll be another sale next summer so I'll maybe try it then.

QVC will really have to pull out all the stops to compete with the sale prices. If the do a TSV I suspect they'll pad it out with the styling products which I wouldn't use. Over in the States they have litre sizes and many more flavours...so that's the sort of TSV I'd hope for.

if it dont get popular enough i dont think we will even get one

I'd like to try Wen as it's certified cruelty free, but it does seem an expensive way to care for your hair. I know many say it's not as expensive as it first appears because they don't need a separate conditioner and they can reduce the number of times they wash their hair, but I just don't have the type of hair that can be left for a couple of days. When I wake in the morning it looks like I've been dragged through a bush backwards - there's just no way I could leave the house without washing it every day.

We have been brained washed for a few years about the,'We must wash everyday, straighten it etc'. It actually strips your scalp over washing.

My hair does stick up sometimes in the mornings. Quick spray of Bumble and Bumble Prep on dry hair, blast with the drier and its perfect again. Five minutes. Its the quiff I worry about. I have two crowns and two cow's licks, so if I can get the wake up in the morning with a quiff Elvis would have killed for. :mysmilie_19:

I don't see why this brand wouldn't have a TSV next year, There are plenty of brands on Qvc have had TSV'S and they divide opinion for example most of the fashion, Charlie bears, Lulu and of course todays TSV................... just to name a few :mysmilie_59:

I've always been low maintenance with my hair, and can't abide when a hairdresser comes near me with straighteners. I've got very fine hair but lots of it, prone to greasiness at the roots but dry at the ends. It's short (a grown out crop currently above jaw length - the longest it's been in years because I was getting fed up with!). Although my hair is fine, volume is definitely not a problem, and in the morning you'd think I'd a beehive hairdo - no amount of brushing it down sorts it out. In the once in a blue moon I've tried leaving my hair, I've ended up damping it down with so much water and faffing about with it I'd have been quicker just to wash it.

Ah. I went for the fig and the tea tree (to match my new-found love for ABC products since seeing the rec'd here). I did have pom in my basket at one point, but then OH asked, "HOW MUCH???!!!" so I rapidly took a few items out - I had gone a bit mad:mysmilie_13:

I can't wait to try the new flavours. I've sort of liked them all so far - the mint makes me feel cold, though, and I hate being cold. The upside is, my colour is lasting a LOT longer. It looks richer, too. I'm over the moon with my hair for the first time in my life thanks to WEN and my beloved SteamPod.

Alter ego, I did have pom in my basket at one point. I read that quick as porn in my basket this morning.:mysmilie_11:

Oh yeah, OH would definitely have had a shock - though it's the money I've spent on my hair this year that's shocked him more than anything!

Well, day 3 now and still pleased. I normally wouldn't leave my hair this long without washing it but it stills feels almost like it did when I first washed it. I would like to try Wen but thought I would test the concept of it with the cheaper option first. Thumbs up so far.

How's the Hair One going, Von?

Any like-for-like reviews between Wen and Hair One? I'm loving the Wen tea tree for my slightly itchy scalp and have rec'd it to my sis but she flat out refuses to pay Wen prices.
