Congratulations Stockton! 2 lots of good news is very welcome, give the awful news elsewhere.
May you both have many years of happiness ahead.First time coming up 69
Will do was starting to arrange last year and partner had accident with circular saw and cut through three fingers had them amputated down to first knuckle so,put on hold as took long time to heal physically and emotionally. One of them was his wedding finger. Told him what a way to get out of a wedding. Threatened it will go through his nose if no fingers. Seriously though was a bad timeMay you both have many years of happiness ahead.
I married my first husband when I was 18, he was 24 and we were married for almost 32 years but he sadly passed away. I was just 49.
I lived alone for several years and then met and married my second husband when I was 57. We`ve now been married for 13 years.
Enjoy your wedding day and please keep us updated on outfits etc and any other wedding info. We are ( well I am ) a nosey lot !
Oh my goodness that`s terrible. Poor man and poor you. Must have been such a traumatic time for you both. Let`s hope it`s all onwards and upwards from now on !Will do was starting to arrange last year and partner had accident with circular saw and cut through three fingers had them amputated down to first knuckle so,put on hold as took long time to heal physically and emotionally. Outfit has passed future daughter in law`s approval, she`s already seen it. They only have one dress code ie everybody wears what the hell they like. I`m there for 2 weeks not just for the wedding so my suitcase will also contain my usual hot weather clothing so when the bride strips off her long chiffon skirt with its train to her matching shorts underneath it with her bridal chiffon top and the bouquet and tiara are plonked on a table somewhere, then myself and her Mum will have kicked off our shoes and probably changed into something cooler and more casual. Luckily we will all be just a short hop in the lift to our rooms, bathrooms and balconies and let the party begin.@Vienna Just read the thread. The dress is very nice, but the way you described the clothes dress code, I was thinking more of a nice top(s) and skirt(s) or even trousers/cullottes. Depends on the heat.
I'd certainly take them as alternatives, just in case you might be overdressed. Not that it matters.
What about a hat for shade, or a fascinator?
