Virgin says it's Ideal World channel is closing down on 17th January

Anyone else seen this? Just went to Ideal World and a banner came up and said it was closing on 17th January.

They are selling skincare with 4 easy payments, so is Virgin wrong?

I will Sky and freeview will still show IW.

Virgin just don't think they want to keep the channel.

Many channels have been disappearing, not just on Virgin overtime.

I would guess IW is coming off Virgin Media.

Smithsonian channel went from Sky,Virgin,Freeview and Freesat last week it's now on Paramount plus.
Only used to watch the Cruise Show on IW but that's not been on since COVID lockdown

I liked Smithsonian and used to watch quite a bit. I said to my brother that, so many channels are moving to extra paid for channels now. It would cost a fortune a month to pay for them all.

You do know Richard Branson hasn't owned Virgin Media for a number of years? It is owned by an American company.

I admit I never look at IW so no worries from me.
