I like this spray and managed to a snag Coco Nutty that had fallen out of someones basket after it had been announced that it had sold out. But 4-5 days later the status still shows as 'awaiting stock.'
There are no advanced orders as we we told in the presentations that 'there will be no more, no advanced orders and last chance to buy'.

I'm sure that I've heard the presenters say in the past that they are not allowed to sell stock they do not have.

But it looks like they have oversold the stock yet again. This happened to me last year with 2 pairs of sketchers when it was a tsv and also some Doll 10 brushes.
They sell the item then it magically just changes from pending to awaiting stock.

I assume they oversell by a certain % as there must be people that cancel their order and the item doesn't go back on air. This never used to happed which is quite concerning especially after 2 days of pree p&p on beauty, must be struggling.

I've written an email to QVC to ask whats happening.

Does anyone remember that shampoo they used to flog a few years back?
It was meant to cut down on hair washing but I remember reading about some lawsuits because some women were getting bald patches.
It just disappeared off QVC.

* Wen

Never used the stuff.

QVC last week the website and even Qcut was having massive problems. I know I tried to buy a diamonique ring with the 20% off code phoned CS and turns out it was on awaiting stock so could not use. Then found another one on clearance and could not pay for the ring even tried Qcut, ended up having to phone CS again, and they said the website was having major problems. The weird thing was when I did manage to get into my orders it shows the ring was showing twice and one said cancelled by the customer. No, it would not let me pay!

costalcabana, I would phone CS and find out what is really going on.

I ordered the TSV Block Blitz weed killer which was due to be delivered within 5 working days. However, I received an email to say that my order had been delayed and I had the option to cancel it. I rang CS and was told that they hadn’t got enough stock and so it was now on advanced order and was due in a few weeks (early June.) I said that they shouldn’t have accepted orders when they knew they couldn’t be fulfilled and the CS woman agreed with me.

I already have some weed killer but ordered the BB one to try it out. If I had to wait until June then the weeds would be like triffids, so …… I cancelled my order.

So many items seem to be on advanced order nowadays that it’s getting a bit ridiculous and, needless to say, other customers will probably source items elsewhere like I do because they arrive the next day or within a couple of days.

I sent them a message through their website mentioning overselling etc and they phoned me yesterday. I do feel like the customer service is usually very good, have had the odd jobsworth though! Essentially was told that they do not have stock of the item and are waiting for it to come in, but if it exceeds 30 days my order will be cancelled. Frustrating as it should have been in stock when it was purchased as we were told no advanced orders etc...

So not sure if they never had any stock of the Coco Nutty and there will be a bunch of unhappy customers or they oversold the stock and just a few of us missed out, but I changed my fragrance option and they honoured the TSV price and was given free postage as a courtesy gesture.

Was told a letter had been sent out to inform me. But what with QVC usually taking 7 days to produce a letter and the state of royal mail these days who knows when it would have turned up!

But they are definitely overselling their stock.

This is what I was told when I ordered 2 pairs (each different colours) of the Sketchers TSV last year sometime. Definitely overselling which is totally wrong.
If they clearly stated that some would be on advanced orders it would be much better than misleading you into thinking you were buying a stock item and it not being dispatched several days later.
I believe that it is a sign that they are struggling as they do not want to hold stock but is more effective being a middleman.
