Torches failed - never been used

I bought these just over a year ago, in case of power cuts. Since they arrived, they've been on a sunny windowsill solar charging so they would always be available for use if required.

Today I decided to test them. Two worked but one was completely dead. I've now tried to charge them from the mains, without success so far.

It seems that the problem is a faulty on/off switch, and several other people have also had this, according to the reviews.

I've had so many "torchy" things from QVC that have failed.

I've had a set of lights where a couple of them never worked from the start. You always have to return the whole lot, not just the ones that don't work which is a pest when you really want them and they are no longer available.

All the lamps and torches that I’ve bought from QVC over the years still work with no problem. If I ever get a power cut I’ll be able to light up the house like Blackpool Illuminations. I guess I’ve been lucky that mine have worked and still do.

A few came in sets of three, so guess what my son got as an extra gift.

I have returned some sets for a refund with free PP as they were faulty from the outset, usually 1 or 2 from a set. But too late for this set. On the other hand, I may phone them anyway
