Tommy and Kate tops!

Just saw Sally do an auction for a set of 2 Tommy and Kate tunics. Quite frankly I would have classed them as t-shirts. You could see that the fabric was paper thin, and that the hideous embellishments (a few scattered sequins and bugle beads) would be off no sooner than you looked at it. Seriously, you could just tell that they weren't going to wash up well or be very easy to iron..yet they went for £29.51! (p&p and phone call incl) For starters you could have bought at least 4 tops like that in Primark of comparable, if not better quality, you could have even gone along to BHS or Next and picked up 2 tops cheaper which most definitely would have been of superior quality to those awful Tommy and Kate rags!

Sally said she was "shocked" at how cheaply these were going for....Really?

Earlier this summer, youngest got 13 items of clothing for 50 quid in Primark, all have washed fine, granted some are better quality than others but nothing has turned into a dishcloth & most were excellent! The prices for cheapo clothing from the shopping channels are beyond ludicrous & isn't Tommy & Kate their own brand? Seen some of the bags etc. on eBay, sellers can barely give them away most of the time! lol
