Okay as its Beauty Day and they I see have L'Artisan Parfumeur 3 items all on easy pay.

I was in my local branch yesterday and Nuit de Tuberose £29.99, Calign(sp) £29.99, L'Eau L'Artisan £29.99, Mon Numero 10(I think they sold the 9???? £39.99),I actually bought this one. Warm oriental amber, leather incense.

Penhaligons Elizabethan Rose £29.99 and Violetta £24.99. I do own the latter and its parma violets sweet violet fragrance.

Eve Lom 100mls size Cleanser £39.99 The Morning Cleanser £29.99

Quite a few of the Perricone Blue Plasma cream, sorry didn't look at the price.

I went to my local TK Maxx last weekend and spotted the Rio galvanic deep pore cleanser that I watched on YouTube (not the Rio one) but galvanic machines that are used in professional salons and really liked the idea of it, but I didn’t know where to buy except from China on eBay which I did buy, but couldn’t use it properly as the instructions were in Chinese. Anyway I spotted it in TKM and grabbed it, came home and did some search and found that it was on qvcuk at full price. I’ve been using it for two days now and really enjoying the gadget however cannot claim any miracles so far. It uses galvanic current to draw out the impurities and on the other setting it’s used for helping creams and serums go deeper.

If anyone interested it’s half price in TKM

And like Donna said there are some beautiful L’Artisan perfumes, I got the ‘Butterflies’ set last Christmas, still in its box (I’m saving it) so will give it a miss this year.

They have lots of or favourite brands, including the Leighton Denny former auto-delivery TSV sets for £19.99... at the moment there's a choice of all four sets - fab Christmas gifts! :mysmilie_14:

Just wanted to give an update on this little gadget as I've been using it for a week morning and night with Garnier Micellar water rather than its own cleanser that I used once. My skin is the clearest it's ever been as my main problem was sebum plugs (not black heads) and I cannot praise is highly enough (so far). I have also been using it on the other mode for moisturising but my main goal was cleansing and this gives me the best skin cleansing I've ever had. Personally I would rate it higher than Clarisonic which I owned for some years, but to be totally honest I wasn't using Clarisonic consistently. I also find that I use Rio more often than I did Clarisonic as I don't need to put it on charger (it's got 2 x AAA batteries) and it's about half the size of Clarisonic and is convenient for travelling.

Awwww very tempted. Ido have a clarisonic and funnily enough have started it again recently every other day once a day only. What would you say was the main difference with the Rio? Do you use it very day? Once or twice a day?

I use it twice daily morning and night but I now feel that I'm overdoing it but I'm hooked.

The difference between the two is that Clarisonic uses an 'abrasive' method and Rio uses electric microcurrent to pull out the impurities and then to help moisturisers go deeper in the skin.

I have a suspicion that this machine may not be suitable for epileptics, if pregnant, people who have pace makes and metal in their mouth as the current will go through the metal things.

There is some more in depth information here:

Youch, my toes are curling just thinking about that.

I've got pins in a root canal re-work so will read up first - thanks for those links...

On a higher setting it feels like if I touched a bare wire so I use it on low, perhaps I'm just sensitive but even on low I feel the current.

Perhaps I should use it less, I admit to using it over the recommended time of 5 minutes and should remember that sometimes less is more.

I forgot to mention, in the morning, my face looks fresh (less puffiness), and this gives me a boost :) hence I'm overdoing things.
