I was flicking through channels the other day like you do and I came across the presentation of a portable DVD player. It was like the kind children use in the back of a car.

I recognised the woman's face straight away but couldn't think where I had seen her before.

Then it came to me.

It was the Pro-Stong presenter off QVC.

So......she is not an employee of Pro -Strong at all as she would have us believe. She is just a TV presenter who will work at anything as long as the price is right.

Why can't they just say that they are presenters of the product and not lead us to believe that they are employed by the company directly?

I think there must be a whole industry of people who "represent" different products/brands at different times and are on the books of agencies, just like models.

I for one definitely like to believe that the guest presenters are associated with the brand and are genuinely enthusiastic about their "products" but realistically I can't think of many that are (Elemis, Decleor, Michele Hope ?) However some guests are very good with the product even though not employed by the brand, such as Marie-Francoise /Kipling bags, Lee Bradley who used to present Philosophy and yes, Zoe Ann Philips the Pro-Strong woman.

I know Amanda Lamb has been on flogging her own range of luggage but I'm sure I can recall seeing another of the "Place in the Sun" presenters doing a show with something completely unrelated to holidays.

the woman from revita lash sells skincare on one of the other channels aswell
