Oh not this rubbish thing again. Two minutes of this and the kids will be bored stupid. All the cars do is do round and round in whatever way you set the track. It's not exactly challenging.

No children so money saved :mysmilie_14:

However, talking of toys, one of the very first things I bought from QVC was a Santa's Polar Express battery operated train set that either had Christmas carols or a choo choo noise. I came home from the pub one night about 20 years ago and Dale was flogging it as a TSV. I bought it for my nephew who was about 2 at the time and he absolutely loved it. Four brothers came along and each one played with it every Christmas. It only quite recently went to the charity shop, still working and the 2 year old nephew has been through uni and now has a job! How time flies and I hope some child somewhere is still playing with the train set - it was quality.

CC

I bought the same train CC, my kids were about 3 & 4 at the time and it lasted a fair few years. We had it running around the base of the tree and is part of those early Xmas memories my two remember fondly. We also still have a huge box of glass ornaments from the Thomas Pacconi (sp?) brand, still going strong. I haven't seen anything similar on Q for years.

Did anyone see the terrifying "hand painted faces" on the Frozen musical carousel? http://www.qvcuk.com/Mr-Christmas-F....html?sc=SRCH&cm_sp=VIEWPOSITION-_-5-_-703817 The painter must have been p!ssed and wearing a blindfold! Blank faces would be less troubling, it'd give me nightmares if I'd had it in my bedroom when I was little!

Terrifying!!! The reindeer looks demented, and the human characters would be more at home in a horror movie.

Olaf is the only character who doesn't look like he would give you nightmares.

I have the Thomas Pacconi too they are admired every year, that's when Q did have quality.
