Leigh on Facebook has put shades up. Now these are the real names of Tarte shades

1. Fair sand = QVC Fair
2. Light sand = QVC Light
3. Light-Medium Honey
4. Medium Honey
5. Tan Honey
6. Deep Sand

You get the idea.

I have watched a few video clips to try and help me decide what colour foundation is best for me, I think I will go for the light medium honey as the medium may be too dark for me, in Bare minerals, Laura Geller and Doll10 a medium is fine for me, Will have to watch the live presentation but I am out all day on Saturday and wont have much time to decide, would hate it to sell out before I make my mind up!!

Anyone tried Tarte, is it as good as they say?
Seen good reviews and would like to give it a go maybe? :mysmilie_378

I am medium in LG and Suede in BM complexion rescue and I use light medium in Tarte.
The medium on its own is too dark, but I have both in the Forest of the Sea foundation and I mix the 2 for my summer colour.
I really like Tarte, so if you've never tried it, the TSV is the best time as you get much better value in the kits
Looking forward to this TSV - not seen any new items on the website yet, but keeping my eye open daily so I can buy what I want before it goes to air.

ive seen a few new items but they dont normally put them up till the day before as they know they will be gone like the highlighter twinkle pallete thats in really short supply already

I'm between Porcelain and Fair in Laura Geller with pink undertones, can someone suggest a Tarte foundation shade in this TSV for me please?
My guess is that I would need Fair Sand ( QVC Fair) but I don't know the undertone to it. I think that the one after Fair Sand ( QVC Fair) is Light Sand (QVC Light) has pink undertone but the colour may be too dark for me.

Fair I'd say Marina. It's a shame they didn't put the Rainforest of the Sea foundation in this TSV as it's a lighter texture that the 12 hour one. I think it'd be a better Summer option imo.

Funny thing was at the Beauty Bash the TSV palette was untouchable; kept under a clear box. Whereas there were other items to handle and test. It struck me as strange.

Probably worried someone would nick it. I used to attend exhibitions and people steal anything.

I already have the highlighter twinkle palette and love it - I got if from USA, but I think I might get another one with a free brush. I also heard that it was going to be in short supply, hopefully they'll put it up before it goes the live shows

Complaints on Leigh's Facebook page about the lack of pink undertone shades. That is QVC UK's fault Tarte will supply what QVC ask for. Lightest Fair shade, lightest Light shade.

The American's on the page are not happy and begging for this TSV over on QVC US

I wonder whether the utube video is from a different palette as the one Leigh has posted on Facebook definitely looks more like Browns and taupes rather than purples ?
Still looks gorgeous :mysmilie_13:

Yes it does look as though Tarte have done lots of them in the past. The blush is too coral for me so I will pass

I see Shazza Flinty's mate has a full review of the TSV and of course the collection.

Its on her blog, backtoyoubeauty blog

At least we can see clear pictures of the contents, so it looks like browns and lilics eyeshadows? Undecided on this and the foundation brush looks huge.

It’s not always correct on that page, I remember when it was the last Doll 10 TSV, they had the eyebrow product in the old round pot.
It seemed that they sourced the products without being able to access the actual TSV.
just to say that the brow product on BTY photo is in a different packaging from the one that Ian posted.
