Thanks, SCW, this looks interesting. Has anyone tried Tangle Teezer, does it work on wavy hair or will I just end up like Monica in Friends in the "it's the humidity" episode?

I've used them you can get them in boots! They are good but I have straight hair. I imagine they would be good on any hair.

I've used one for years and wouldn't be without mine. I've got thick hair and it detangles it painfree and without without damaging the hair.

I have very thick hair and now it is longer it does get tangled when wet, so I used the tangle teezer on the lengths to detangle after it has been washed, I don't used it on the scalp though as I find that is sore.

its brilliant. i use it to distribute my elastisizer and conditioner and to apply mouse or any styling product. very very good. ant it does not hurt it works unlike the eyeko mascara but thats anather thread..

Hand mine for many years, so many I can't remember the exact amount, think about 5 years. I paid around £10 so the price is good. It's still going strong and is used by me and my two daughters, all long thick (straight) hair. It does take some brushing to get down to the very depths but it does work and I like that it is so gentle. I hated it at first but once you master the technique, it works well. My girls love it too.

I love it too,got mine last Summer in my local chemist for 9.50 euros so cheaper than QVC with their so called buying power.

I have thick wavy hair which is just pass my shoulders. I tried the tangle teezer but prefer using my paddle brush instead. I don't have hair that tangles or knots a lot so it could be that my hair didn't need to use it. I found the tangle teezer was no good on the scalp area or combing the back of my head.

I've found the same thing. I've got long hair and still prefer to use my Philip Kingsley paddle brush when my hair's wet, as I don't find the tangle teezer as effective, although I may not have got the technique right when using it.

I've had mine for a few years now and it is so kind and gentle to the hair. I agree with another post that it can be bought cheaper elsewhere. With free p+p, however, and if you want a compact version, it is worth buying this from QVC. Personally, I cannot comprehend why one would need a compact teezer in preference to a standard one, when the latter is normally cheaper.
